nutpods Dairy-Free Creamer Unsweetened, 11.2 FL OZ (Original, 12-pack) - Whole30 / Paleo / Keto / Vegan / Sugar Free, White

I recently had to switch from half and half bc my blood work shows I can't have milk anymore. For me, this is a big deal as that is my favorite thing to add to coffee and I drink coffee every day.
Thankfully a friend recommended Nutpods.

Pros:
Original flavor is not nutty at all
Mouth feel is spot on (like half and half)
The after taste is spot on (like half and half)
Small container ensures the one you have opened isn't going bad before you finish it (if you use it ever day like I do)
It's not thin like other dairy free creamers tend to be.

Cons:
Price is high for the amount you get but you get what you pay for.

As a fellow mompreneur I really appreciate that this is designed by and a mom owned company. Very cool.

I have searched for a good coffee "creamer" ever since going vegan about 5 years ago. Making coffee is a ritual for me, I love my java! Until now, my favorite has been Hemp milk (rich, does not change the taste of the coffee, etc) But-- hemp separates in the coffee. I have been using the Nutpods creamer for about a week, and I have to admit, I kind of go "yum" after each sip! No weird aftertaste, no coconut taste, no bitter almond taste. Just nice and creamy. The small cartons will be easy for travel. The only issue is cost; I think it's a little high. But, my coffee is important to me, so I think I'm going to come back for more. I appreciate the quality ingredients as well.

I have milk issues; even A-2 milk and I don't get along. I tried cashew milk and found that the cashew tree is closely related to poison ivy, so I ended that relationship, too. Having tried goats milk, almond milk and dry creamers and deciding that they were all awful, I had just about given up on either cream or milk in my coffee (and therefore given up on coffee), Since I despise the taste of coconut, I was very skeptical of the Nutpods Creamer, but to my surprise, it had absolutely no coconut flavor whatsoever! Granted, it does not taste like cream and is not as thick as cream, but it is better than anything else I have tried. The texture is between milk and cream and the taste, while unique, is actually quite good. I can now begin my day with coffee and end it with less of the digestive discomfort that I had been experiencing. Thank you Nutpods for a product worth paying for!

**Update: The company reached out to me. They're a family-owned company producing on a smaller scale going up again giant companies. Not a crazy profit margin like I thought. The creamer *is* damn good. Also, my coconut creamer workaround is not satisfying me right now.**

Original review:
This is just too expensive. I really think the company is leaving themselves a giant profit margin. Are they advertising a lot?? I don't know. I love this creamer but I like my matcha latte super creamy and end up going through one of the cartons in 3 days, and the 4 pack in 12 days. I use about 4 oz per serving and each carton is a little over 11 oz. On the last day my latte is a tiny bit sad (today).

Aren't there any competitors out there?? (Not Califia, sorry their almond milk tastes like poo poo with lattes and it has funky ingredients.) I think around $10 would be awesome. Right now it's $9 a week to make my lattes everyday. At $10 it'll be around $6. 9x4wk=$36mo vs 6x4=$24mo. I save about $12 which buys me another pack with some change.

As of now, I won't be buying another pack. I can't justify the amount of money I'm spending just to have some dairy-free creamer without funky ingredients. I'm going to go back to buying coconut cream: Aroy-D Pure Coconut Cream, 33.8 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 3), it's 0.15 an ounce. It has a short shelf life once opened so I just take a bit out of the carton and fill up a small glass jar (used jam jar) and store that in the fridge. The big carton I carefully vacuum seal it and put that in the bottom of fridge way in the back. The small glass jar keeps me going through the week and the big carton lasts at least a few weeks when vacuum sealed and left alone (opened once a week to refill my glass jar). I'm going to calculate that better this time around and see how the whole process goes. Sorry nutpods, I'll probably be back later when I get tired of my coconut cream workaround but not this time. I def will not be stocking my pantry with this item.

I have been searching tirelessly for a decent, somewhat healthy, lactose-free coffee creamer substitute. Nothing has sufficed.. Coconut creamers are far too sweet and only mask the taste of coffee. Almond milk is too dilute and tastes like chalk (in my opinion). Everything in between creates a completely different cup of coffee, or not coffee at all? As ridiculous as it sounds, my mornings actually became kind of solemn. Then, I stumbled upon Nutpods original unsweetened creamer and thought I'd give one last attempt before giving up coffee completely. I am ecstatic. I can taste my coffee again and the consistency is very much like half and half. My search is over. Thank you for developing this product!

I luv this stuff so much but I’m going through it faster than usual I’m guessing Bc Of the new packaging? Please make this in bigger containers ..I’m begging !

Update :
I’ve been re-ordering this do much I just can’t do it anymore - I drink two large mugs of coffee a day and I am not making a latte out of this... if they could make this lighten and creamy up my cuppa joe with LESS I’d continue ordering it... I’m having yo switch to the other brand that comes 6 huge containers in a box. I just can’t affird nutpids anymore .

If it can make my coffee creamier and lighten it up with less I will be back. Until then... I can’t keep buying so much of this monthly- it’s good froths nicely but I just can’t afford it.

This is a really good coffee creamer, really and very surprising, it doesn't taste like almond or coconut. It is the closest I can come to the old coffee mate creamer. I wish someone could copy it without all of the bad stuff. I just recently started drinking coffee again, so I needed to find a creamer that I liked because I have tried to drink it black, no can do. And I am from the south, so one would think I could take it black and strong. My husband just recently started drinking this coffee that I found on Amazon, which tastes like Seaport from south Louisiana, so it has a very strong flavor. So with my Nutpods, I am learning to like this coffee very much.

I got to try these a couple years ago at a natural food seminar, and they always stuck in my head as “just as good as dairy.” I do the Whole30 every year at least once, and as I was mumbling to myself over how terrible it was that I couldn’t have any stupid creamer in my stupid coffee, I remembered Nut Pods!! Hooray! Whole30 compliant AND delicious. So glad they’re here on Amazon so my rural self doesn’t have to get all the way to some store in the city. Y’all are great!

I never post reviews but nutpod asked me what I thought of their product and since I talk about how much I love nutpods with anyone who will listen, I might as well post it here. I originally bought nutpods in October 2017 when I was doing the Whole30. I was a confirmed once a day, whole milk latte person for the last 15 years. I had stopped drinking coffee years ago because it was too strong for me. Doing the Whole30, I found a blonder blend of coffee and based upon recommendations from friends who had done the Whole30, ordered some nutpods. Before I did the Whole30, I had never even tried almond or coconut milk. Seven months later, I never buy milk and both my husband and I love the nutpod in our coffee! I think nutpod blends in coffee way better than a 2% or skim milk. It blends more like a 1/2&1/2, without the dairy. I've now tried other almond milks and coconut milks but it is the blend of nutpod that really gets the perfect balance. I only wish I could buy nutpods at the grocery store because we go through them so fast. And I wish Starbucks or any coffee shop had nutpod offered on the counter to put in your coffee!

This is the best tasting non-dairy, shelf-stable creamer I have tried. I like its mixture of coconut and almond for the food value of each. There is no coconut taste I can discern, so I can use it in cooking for my spouse, who doesn't care for the taste of coconut (except in pie!). The fact there are no chemical ingredients, or even weird gum thickeners, is also a plus for me. Winter is coming, so I just purchased a larger order to keep on my shelves. Although this seems pricey, I find I am using less to get the same degree of whiteness in my beverages, so this is a better value. Defintely, take a chance and try it, you'll probably be pleased!
