CRICUT USERS!

These are great cutting mats. Since they were so cheap I bought one to see if they could replace the cutting mats for my Cricut. Although they do go through the machine the outer edges don't line up with the edges of the Cricut mat. The cutting will not be in the same place as where you want it to cut. It's not a huge difference but definitely would be important if you're doing a very specific cut or trying to save paper. With that being said I really do like the mat. It is great with thin copy paper and didn't rip when I took it off. The cover film is thicker and more durable than the cover film for the Cricut Mat. I'll keep the mat just to have as an extra mat when I'm not doing a precisely measured cut. Nicapa if you could secretly replicate the Cricut mat you'd have a lifetime buyer and I wouldn't tell!

I'm writing this review after using these on my Cricut Maker. Overall, I am extremely pleased with these mats. The only drawback is that they are slightly smaller & thinner than Cricut mats, and this requires some adjusting. To compensate for the size, cut your paper approximately 1/4" - 1/2" larger than needed & be sure to situate the mat to the left when loading. The thinner mat only causes issues with vinyl & thicker cardstock. like Stampin' Up!. After trial & error, I found that when using these products, you need to make these adjustments: for vinyl, set to adhesive foil matte with "more" pressure. For heavier cardstock, set on "Kraft Cardstock" and "more" pressure.

There are MANY plusses: the mats retain their stickiness much better than Cricut mats. Because they are thinner, they don't get cut marks nearly asd badm which I find causes inconsistent cuts on the Cricut mats. Also, they are much more flexible & less prone to snapping. Even though they retain the stickiness better, getting your material off is so much easier than the Cricut mats. Your material won't shred & tear. And....the cost. Just over $3 each versus an average of $7 each.

As much as I love supporting the manufacturer, I am totally in love with this off-brand Silhouette cutting mat! THey're much more durable and the stick is both long-lasting while not overly sticky at first. A sopa and water rinse will get the lint off without removing the stickiness so they'll last a long time. We really put our mats through the wringer, and I don't need to mask down my cardstock like I did after a dozen or so uses on the Silhouette brand mats. These are truly life changing!

This review is for the Nicapa standard grip cutting mat. I used to have an Amazon subscription for the "official" Silhouette mats but for some reason, there were a couple of times that they weren't available for my subscription so I started looking around for an alternative. I decided to give these a try and have NOT been disappointed. I've used them with cardstock and vinyl (both permanent adhesive and iron on) and have been impressed. I've only boughta set once but so far, there haven't been any issues with them being TOO sticky or not sticky enough. I'm still on the first mat after many, many uses. They're quite the bargain compared to the prices of "official" silhouette mats so I plan on buying again.

If you work with silhouette cricut or cameo machines, then these are the mats for you! I currently produce products with my Cricut Explore Air 2, and have found that, I just never seems to have enough mats for all of my projects. Great news! These come in a pack of 4, and can easily be adjusted to fit you're Cricut machine. Although Cricut mats are slightly bigger in width, all you have to do is tape you're Nicapa mat to you're old cricut mat, making sure to match lines on both mats. And Bingo! you have a mat that not only is great, but staying/sticky power seems unmatched thus far! good job Nicapa!

I read some of the reviews and saw some horrifying pictures, however, I am a "frugal" person so I gave it a shot. What's a couple bucks right? I am so glad I took the chance! My Cameo 3 mat has long since been retired but I am still using the first of the 3 pack of these mats. The stick is amazing but not too strong (standard adhesive). I use the more used mats for cardstock and other papers and it acts just like a "light adhesive" mat but will still hold the adhesive vinyl. For the HTV I used a "newer" mat and had no issues. I don't know if I would take the film off a brand new mat and use it with paper (except what's on the back of vinyl) but I haven't tried (I told you I'm frugal and don't want to take the chance). Point is you will not be disappointed in these mats they are longer lasting with the same sticking power as the name brand mats!!!

I don’t pay the silly name brand prices. These are better than those and you get more for your money.

These are stickier, yet easier to remove the cuts from than the name brand. It's 1/4" too narrow for the side guides on my CriCut Explore Air2 or I would have given 5 stars. I still like these better than the name brand. To adjust I make sure the mat is against one side firmly when loading. I have not had any slipping or issues so far.

I have been using a non-sticky mat for so long that I’ve been using tape around the edges, I don’t know why I waited so long to purchase these mats! They work on my silhouette cutter just fine. The material comes off so easy it’s a breeze and I don’t have to use tape to make my material stick. Nothing sticks too much that tears the material like silhouette mats have done to me in the past. Absolutely love these mats and the fact you get 3 for a great price!

Let me just say that I do love the price of these mats and I will continue to purchase them, even if I have to re-tack them when needed- they are definitely worth the purchase HOWEVER I was a bit disappointed that after only a few days use, they stopped being sticky and I had to revert back to my old cricut and silhouette mats to get me through the rest of my projects until I could retack these ones. As long as you know to expect it, you can work around it but it would've been nice to have them last longer than a few days of use. Maybe see if they offer a stronger tack mat, maybe that will work a little longer. Most of my projects are working with permanent vinyl or HTV, so nothing crazy that would eat up the tack in a quicker time than usual.
