I bought this selection of felting wools along with the 'Needle Felting Craft Kit Set With Handy Case' Sold by Quwei and the book - 'Needle Felting From Basics to Bears' by Liza J. Adams so that I could teach myself to felt. So far I've used the wools to make a couple of projects from the book and it's super easy to work with. The colors are lovely and bright and felt up perfectly. Yes they come in strands but they can easily be worked into a ball or any shape you need. My only complaint is that there is only a small amount of each color so if you already have a specific project in mind you might be better off buying those colors individually. On the other hand this is a great selection to have on hand for smaller areas, highlights and decorations.
Just as a warning, these are smaller amounts than I anticipated. That’s on me, though, because I should have read the description properly.
But the color variety is nice and the felting wool is a nice quality for its price. Good if you’re just getting into needle felting or want a nice variety of colors in small amounts.
Perfect for a beginner like myself who just wants to try little felling projects! The portions are actually bigger than I expected because they are folded up tightly. Lots of colors with no repeats except for grey and white which is fine with me. I would recommend this to anyone
Great variety at a good price. Used a few colors for knitting thrums in mittens (colorful pair in photo). One pair of kids mittens used about 3 packages total.
Exactly what I hoped I'd get. Three ounces is not a whole lot of any one color, but it was a nice selection of colors for varied projects. I'm just starting out and this is what I'd hoped to get to play around and be creative! Shipping was fast also.

My granddaughter just loves the product. She is extremely good at craft projects and made many animals and flowers using the wool yarn. She gikves it a thumbs up and is ready to purchase more yarn.
Ok..so I ordered these as a sample to make some fun dreadlock additions. I haven't made them yet but after watching countless youtube how to's..I know I made a good choice. This gives me a lot of colors and choices to play and have fun with..get your creative juices flowing and order them..great for small projects.
I was concerned about the quantity of the wool in each color but I've yet to run out of any after sharing with another person after 2 weeks. Great quality, felts up easily.

It’s decent quality wool, but I didn’t get all of the colors shown in the picture and I got duplicates of some colors. It’s also a lot smaller bunches than I had hoped, they are each around the size of ping pong balls.
