Mionix Mouse Pad (SARGAS-320)

Mionix Mouse Pad (SARGAS-320)

The mouse pad looks great and the top is super soft making for great tracking and comfort. I've been using it for about a while now and the only complaints I have were when it first came out the right hand side was curled a little and no amount of stacking books would flatten it out, so I just bent it the other way a little and so far it seems to have resolved the issue. The other thing is that I find the edge kind of bothers my wrist when I'm using it, not all the time but once in a while it'll just feel way rougher than it should. I'm not sure if that's a defect or if it's just the way the mouse pad was made, either way I like the looks and tracking and will probably end up buying one of the XL ones for my desk.

I've had this for 2.5 years, it's in pretty close to perfect condition and love it. But here's the catch, I use it on top of their more expensive aluminum mousepad which keeps it perfectly flat even on the edge of my desk. Bit of an odd and pricey combo...wasn't intentional but it feels and looks great.

I have had this mousepad for 12 months now. I have not experienced any peeling or issues with durability - and I use my computer very often as a gamer, and a university student studying computer science.

The pad has a very consistent feel to it. Strangely though, I noticed that moving my mouse up and down on the pad had a noticible amount more resistance than moving it from left to right - though this is not really a practical issue. Overall, its surface provides a balance between speed and control, with a bit more control than I'd like - more than other soft mousepads I have used (my only complaint).

There isn't really any maintenance needed for this pad as long as you don't spill stuff on it. Of course, as a cloth pad it can be annoying to clean powdery stuff out of it, but overall no big issues here.

good but about a typical usage I started to notice the peel off on the corner my hand would have contact on, by the logo.

I love love love this mouse pad. I use it with my Mionix Naos mouse to play Counter Strike GO and could not ask for a better pad. There's a lot more real estate than what I was expecting and it looks great on my desk. It's built well and was in nice cardboard packaging laying flat, not rolled up. I love Mionix!

Description

The Mionix Sargas 320 is made of a durable microfiber cloth material with slightly more friction than coated mouse pads. The special microfiber surface counteracts data loss and improves the sensor tracking performance. The Sargas 320 was built with our in-house S.Q.A.T. technology which tests the data loss of the surface, many months of testing has been carried out to ensure that this cloth pad has an extremely low data loss. The underside is made of a natural rubber offering a firm grip irrespective of the surface under the mouse pad or extensive movements. The wide tracking area ensures for long sweeping movements without interruption.

This mouse pad is an amazing invention. The mouse glides on this surface and responses in games a more accurate. I would buy another but, I only need one for gaming. The office can do without something as good as this... besides it may compel me to play rather than work. So, not for the office, great for the rig.

I've been using this for a little over a year now - and it's great. Its big which is nice.... but can be annoying, depending on your set up... mine slides down when I'm gaming - but I don't really mind. The fabric is nice - and overall I'm happy with the purchase.

I like it, and I bought it cuz A) I have a Castor and B) I like to support Mionix as a company. It looks very nice, it covers the whole desk, and feels comfy on my hands. Only reason I'm only rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the material it's made out of attracts dust/fur easily so you have to wipe it off, but it's not that big a deal. Buy it if you wanna mouse pad and like Mionix

EDIT: So, I dunno how to feel about this. Ok, here's something good. I spilled a whole glass of water on here, RIGHT next to my expensive castor and logitech keyboard. I immediately moved the mouse and keyboard to the left and the mouse pad just beaded the water, it didn't even sink in! I had plenty of time to get a towel and clean up without any problems. So that's good. But here's the bad. I had an offbrand mouse mat before and it scored a 70 on my Castor's S.Q.A.T. test. But I recently ran it on my new Mionix Sargas XXL mat. IT GOT A 50!!! I honestly would kind of like a response from Mionix because while I love the look of the mat and of course I love my Castor, I do think it's a bit ridiculous that the 30 dollar mat I bought has a lower score from their own surface analyzer tool than a random amazon basics mat.....

Buy this, it is amazing

This thing is perfect. I love that it literally is a desk pad. My mouse and keyboard both fit on there and I have tons of room for mouse movement while gaming.
