I'm very happy with this purchase.

Background, I use these on my daily commute. 40 minute walk through the hills of San Francisco. Windy, check. Wanted for both listening to music/podcasts as well as making phone calls. Primarily using with an android phone.

I was worried about a couple things when I bought these:
- Read peoples ears got sweaty
- Had some mixed reviews for phone calls
- Some said they didn't stay on head extremely well

Passed those, I had read all positives on these for the price-point. And in my opinion, none of these were an issue for me. They stay on my head just fine. I've even jogged with them and they maintained their position. Ears get a little sweaty on really sunny days. If you live in a hot climate, have the sun pounding on you while using -- you may want to consider that. For me here in SF, not an issue at all. Even on sunny days, with a cool breeze, no issue whatsoever. Phone calls have been wonderful as well. Was on a busy street earlier, they could still hear me loud and clear. So much so that I was happily surprised. I thought for sure with the wind ripping past, people honking etc, there's no way this is going to be a good experience. I was so wrong.

First impressions:

- They were a little smaller/thinner than I was expecting. Not sure why, they look jsut as they do in the image. But to my delight, still fit me beautifully.
- Because it's all plastic, it doesn't look quite as cool as the new monster phones, but then again they are not $300 and they are sooo light because of it. I could literally wear these all day without really noticing.
- Actually, they look pretty cool.
- Bluetooth is painless, easily connected to pc and phone.
- The sound quality is great. I'm no audiophile, but i've used much more expensive headphones and these are on par with a pair more expensive. Bluetooth you always take a hit as far as sound quality, but still sounds beautiful. And plugged in, even better.
- Comfortable, so damn comfortable.
- Having buttons on the headphone makes life so easy.
- Easy to adjust
- Huge one for me, sound does not leak. I hate hearing other peoples music blaring in public places. These leak so little, was impressed by this. And there's no active noise cancellation, but they still hold sound pretty well, you'll feel like you're in your own little world. Without feeling like you're in a sauna or listening to yourself chew. Win win.
- Good battery life
- Easy to turn on/off

I've had a fantastic experience so far. If I had to pick anything apart. It's annoying you can't listen to them while charging. At least not plugged in, actually not sure--you may be able to via bluetooth. I'll update later. But if they die, you definitely have to wait a little before using again. The buttons on the headphone are a little stiff if i'm being extremely critical, but they are so convenient hasn't hurt my experience one bit.

Happy customer, and definitely recommend these to anyone looking in the bluetooth headphone market, or even just for anyone looking for a new pair of headphones and willing to accept extra perks of having bluetooth at your fingertips. Beware you warm climate people, but other than that, happy listening.

UPDATE: I have been using these for months now, every single day. I still love them. I feel like I never charge them, they just work. Thinking about it now, I've had absolutely no problems. No dropped calls. No random cut outs, or weird bluetooth issues. Charge once a month, maybe. Have never been somewhere where they died on me, only charge because I figure they have to be getting low. In the summer the leather after a long walk or jog would cause my ears to get a little sweaty after awhile. Wasn't an immediate issue, but something worth noting as there are plenty of warmer climates than that of the bay area. But adding to that, they've been the perfect companion for the winter months. When it's below 60 and windy, these provide the perfect amount of protection from the elements. For the price tag, I could not imagine being happier with a different pair.

I use these for running and riding my motorcycle.

I originally got the wired black headphones last Christmas (2016) they are extremely comfortable once you adjust the wire to go over your ear the way you want. My ears are really sensitive to pressure and these sit nicely on the ear with no pain. I wear glasses and they do not interfere with them at all. The only downside I found was the clip is a little small and gets pulled off easily.

Once I lost the wired ones, I had to shop again and came across the wireless ones! Considering how much I loved the old pair, I wanted to give them a try. These are even better! The wire above the ear keeps it's shape better. I have a little issue with the Bluetooth that if I put my phone into my pocket, it takes a second and dims the music to reconnect. Also the lowest music setting is very loud. I'm not sure if it's noise cancelling so much as drowning. I run with one out to be able to hear my surroundings.

It does drown out the wind while riding my motorcycle so that's great. They stay in even with heavy sweating during my run. I've only run 6 miles with them so I'm unsure of the battery life.

EDITED 11/16/2018

I have worn them during half marathons (3 hours) and my Ragnar Relay event (36 hours event, used for 6 hours) with one charge. Battery life is fantastic and they are still going strong!

I have a a Sony DR-BT22 headset and these are way more comfortable and sound way more better. For the money you pay for this thing, you are getting a very high quality sound reproduction (for a bluetooth headset). Everyone keeps saying 'for a bluetooth headset', but face it, BT is just not quite there yet.

As for sound quality on phone calls, it is very good. I was outside and the wind was blowing a bit with cars driving by and my wife said that she could hear me loud and clear. Which is so weird to me because I'm not used to using the headset that way. But it's good to know it works and that it works well.

Also, I have listened to my co-workers Wireless BT Headset from Dre Beats, and I was totally knocked for a loop when a $50-$75 dollar headset sound just as good, if not better then a $299.99 headset! Also, these headphones are so much lighter and are way more comfortable then the Dre Beats ones. I was actually contemplating on getting the BT Dre Beats, but thankfully I got a rare opportunity to listen to and compare them with what I already have (these and the Sony's). Needless to say, I'm glad I didn't dish out the cashola for the Dre Beats ones.

Another advantage this set has is that you can use it wirelessly or with a wire (which is included).

I give this device a 4 out of 5 because the flaws are that it can make your ears sweat a little bit and that the charging cord is unique in that you have to plug the cord into your earphone jack of the headphones, thus preventing you from using them while they charge.

Hope this helps. But for now, this is the least expensive to quality sound reproduction headset ratio you are going to find on the market.

I've been buying Mee Audio headphones and earphones for years. In the end they offer the best value for money out there. I have the expensive Pinnacle P1, Matrix 3 and a pair of X7s that just got dropped in the ocean after 18 months of daily use. I looked at the X8s but ended up with the N1's since I would like to try the neckband style this time and found a great deal here on Amazon on them. What struck me immediately after having set them up with my phone and gotten them in my ears was how good they sound! They are open and clear with just the right amount of bass ooomph. The next thing is how comfortable they are to wear! I walk to and from work every days and these I forget to take off when I get to the office or home for that matter. Amazing. The question is how long they will last, but if I get more than a year out of these they are the the best IEM bargain I have gotten ever. I know that Mee Audio offer great customer service and that they care about their products. That is important to me since I use their products every day (and night) and have to have them work at all times. I have to repeat that these sounds more like $200 than $50, and I have compared side by side over the lasts few days! If you like to try the neckband type of Bluetooth IEMs you just can't go wrong with these!

I haven't had an MEE product that I didn't like. For what I was looking for, these ear buds are perfect. They come with 4 sets of ear tips so finding a set that fits your ears comfortably is a breeze. When I first listened to these with the factory installed ear tips (I believe they're the medium sized ones) I was disappointed in the sound. But when I changed them to the larger ones I was immediately happy with the sound. The bass is deep and the highs are crisp. Mind you, I do use the built-in equalizer on my LG G7 so I'm sure that aids in the sound quality. Even without the EQ they still sound pretty good. The larger tips did a great job of blocking a lot of outside noise. At one point, a couple of guys around me were playing video games on their phones and talking and I barely heard them. Also I have small ears so the non-adjustable bend in the wire that goes over your ear is just right. I can see it being a problem for those who have larger ears because the shape may tend to irritate the ear a bit due to it squeezing them too much. The control buttons are a little small but with continued use finding them and hitting the right one shouldn't be a problem. For the price I highly recommend these especially if you have smaller ears.

LOCKED-IN FIT Flex-wire ear hooks conform perfectly to your ears, providing the most secure fit for any activity, while the ergonomic earpieces and 4 sizes of included ear tips block outside noise and ensure all-day comfort. SWEAT-RESISTANT DESIGN Advanced sweat-resistant Nano-coating provides protection from damage due to sweat, moisture, and the elements. RICH AND CLEAR SOUND Advanced 10mm drivers bring music, movies, games, and other media to life with enhanced bass and crystal clarity. Issue: Ear pieces won't stay in your ears , Resolution: Several things can cause the ear piece to come out of your ears including: - Incorrect tip size for your ear canal. Try other sizes of ear tips - The earphones not inserted at the best angle for your ears . The ear tips have a buildup of bodily fluids. Clean the ear tips as described in the Care and Storage section of the online user manual . The memory wire isn't configured correctly for your ear shape . Issue: My M7P Doesn't Quite Fit Around My Ear , Resolution : The flex-fit ear-hooks are meant to be used in conjunction with the cable cinch. With small and medium-sized ears they will provide a relatively loose fit, but if you slide the cable cinch up this will "lock" the fit in place in a way that's comfortable, but still secure. This is illustrated in the manual , another option is to simply re-shape the ear-hooks. When heated up the ear-hooks can be given a different shape, for example made tighter around smaller ears. A hair dryer can be used to heat up the ear-hooks wire and then mold it into the desired shape. Once the wire cools back down, it will maintain the new shape permanently. Together with the ability to rotate the connectors (since they are detachable) this can give you pretty much any fit you want.

Have had these for a while now, and I simply love them. I cannot use earbuds, so headphones are a must. That these are wireless makes it easy to listen to music away from the computer, while I do chores or whatever. And as loud as I want to without annoying the neighbors (or the pet). The sound quality is great, and the life between each recharge is reasonable.

I like that I can also adjust the volume right from the headphones, or skip songs, via buttons on the band. It's easy enough to sync with the laptop, just push a button and away you go! The most I've had to do was go into the audio settings on the computer, and manually choose to have sound sent to the headphones instead of the built in speakers.

The only issues I have are minor: I have a small head so I wish the band could go smaller an inch or so more than it does. But other than sliding a little bit, I'm not too worried. The distance from the computer is also shorter than I thought, but for me I just move the laptop around a little, and I'm good to go.

So they dropped the memory wire and are now pre-shaped, the wire was better. I have fairly small ears and the pre-formed loop is too big for a really good fit. The biggest problem is a odd BT connection issue that I haven't pinned down but is fixed by cycling power on the Headphones or cycling the BT on my phone, it causes music to mute out then fade back in. This fading in is the worst "feature" of the headphones, it serves no point at all, the voice FB for commands like power on and off and BT connection are all good features. The power draw for the batteries is very tiny, so tiny that getting these to power off a Battery bank is impossible. if something else can keep the bank draw up then you can piggy back off that, but the Amp draw is .05A and <3W so the power bank has no idea something is drawing power. So far I have had no problems getting 10+ hours of power from them, I typically crank the BT volume on my phone and use the phones at the second level.

AT LAST I found a neckband style bluetooth headset!! This is now the 4th brand that I've ordered to replace my old LG headset that finally broke after 5 years. I tried LG Tone (too expensive for what they were), BeatsX (which just sucked - not loud enough), Bluefin (cheap headset that was ok for music but useless for calls - mic was too inconsistent). This convenient little headset is perfect for my needs. The sound stage is very clean with not any particular band being over- or under-represented - all frequencies are pretty well balanced. The buttons are simple and convenient, pairing is quick and easy, they are lightweight, and phone and online conference calls are seamless.

Great set of wireless headphones for working out!

I tried another pair of in-ear headphones first, but they died the first time out - Brainwavz BLU-100 Sport Bluetooth 4.0 APTX Headphones (NOT recommended).

I use them while running and lifting weights. It helps if you have a hat on while lifting if lying flat, say, while doing bench press. They offer pretty good clamping pressure, but nothing severe. So, the head band might slip backwards a bit, etc., depending on head size. If you wear a hat, you can rest the headband on "top" {relative to lying flat} of the little button on top of your head to keep them from falling down. Works for me.

About sweat: Everyone who plans on exercising with headphones is usually worried about sweat, I was too. My "solution" was
Blackcell Foam Pad Ear Cover 2-5/16". I got them for dirt cheap here on Amazon and I put them over the ear pads to help "catch" sweat so it doesn't have penetrate too deeply into the pads. I am a HEAVY sweater and I've been using these headphones with the foam covers for several weeks and they don't have ANY odor at all and don't pull in much sweat. I remove the foam covers after each workout. Takes a little practice to get them on, but they stay in place and they work well for me without cutting down on sound.

Sound: I'm not an audiophile, but appreciate good sound reproduction. These don't really disappoint. I prefer the sound from much higher end phones of course, but for working out, these are great. They don't get super loud, so for the max output keep the EQ off. I use them with my iPhone 5s and 6s - no issues. Really low base can get a tad cracked at max volume, but I'm picking on them for no good reason really. Overall, I love them. Been listening to T.I., Adele, JT, you name it and they all sound pretty darn good.

Features: Very solid battery life, imbedded (non-protruding) mic, volume up/down buttons, track skipping, pausing, etc. You also get a flat cord for use when you want to preserve battery. BT range is very good, better than the 30' I've seen advertised. I actually left my phone on the treadmill while listening to Audible and got about 70' and out of site and couldn't figure out why the playback started to break up. Then I realized my phone wasn't on me. From my experience, you should easily be able to shoot hoops, play tennis, etc. as long as the phone has the latest BT and is in the open near by. I routinely walk 20-30' away to put stuff in my bag, blow my nose, grab equipment cleaner, stretch, etc. with no breakup or quality loss. Exceptional given that I was using wired in-ear headphones a few months ago. Technology, for all it's potential problems and cost is remarkably helpful many times :)

Pros:

- Light weight
- Great battery life (an hour a day or so easy for up to about two weeks or so)
- Battery level is audible when dropping to a new tier ("Battery High", etc.)
- Good sound quality
- Works at a nice distance with little feedback problems - have used them up to 50 feet away in clean line of site with my 6s
- Comes with a cable
- Multi colors available
- Comfortable
- For me, they stay in place while running and working out (if propped on hat button while in non-vertical positions)
- Fold down smaller
- Affordable
- Superb value

Cons:

- Charging time kind of slow
- Max volume may not be loud enough for some
- Delay in taking incoming calls - long pause in playback, then phone number calling is spoken in the headset, then slight delay in connecting
- Phone call quality is decent, sometimes other end says volume seems low, but functional
- On ear means not as much sound isolation (ambient incoming, your tunes outgoing) as over the ear

Overall, if you are looking for flawless sound reproduction, the most modern style or the most well-known logos ("b", etc.) then they might not appeal to you. But for all but the most demanding user, these are very, very good. I use these in the gym only and occasionally to finish a book section or something walking into the office. I like them enough that I might look at their over-ear version for flights/travel/"serious" listening. Hard to beat for the price IMO.

At this point, it seems like I’ve found the right ones for me! I use Mee wired ear buds, when my Skullcandy wireless batteries go dead- which is way too quick imho, but I’ve been looking for another wireless pair to have as a back up when the battery dies...So far, these seem real fine! I use wireless ear buds inside my motorcycle helmet for radar, navigation, and music systems. What I really like about these so far, is they lasted for 7 hours! My Skullcandy are good too, but at about 3.5 hours I start getting the annoying “ tootle de doo” sound that I’m running low on battery. Then in 15 minutes, I’ve got to pull off the road and hook up to my wired back up set...which whips around in the wind, pulling it away from my ears, and tangling up in everything. The fact that the battery in these last twice as long, scores big points in my book. These lasted for 7 hours on the bike,at which time I arrived at my destination; I still had not heard any “low battery” alert!! I also like the over the ear feature of the wires. That seems to keep them more secured in the proper Location. I realize I’ve only used them for a minute as I write this, but I’ll come back and adjust this review if they turn into crap down the road. Oh! By the way, I read above where someone didn’t like the quality saying it sounded ”tinny” to them. I recommend with any ear buds that do not soun right to you, that you Just try using different earpieces. When you find the one that “blocks” things off properly in your ear canal, or sits in the proper location and depth of your ear canal, the highs, midrange or, the bass, will come alive. Yes, you can adjust the equalization of your ear buds, by the choice you make in the ear piece!
