I use it for Bible journaling. It has worked out fine
My son purchased these for my daughter for Christmas. She loves them! She uses them in her dot journal and on coloring pages. They do bleed through pages but that’s to be expected and she doesn’t mind. I love the color selection!
I bought these on accident when my daughter had asked for another brand. What a great mistake! She liked these so much better than what she asked for in the first place! Lots of colors—Great quality, excellent price.
When first looking at this item I thought it was a little expensive. I wanted something high quality for a gift for my teenage daughter who loves to do art. It was well worth it. These marker pens are the best I e ever purchased.
there is an excellent choice of colors and they last

Liked it but some of the colors were a little off
This was received with much joy by my daughter.
We have some artists in this family. We have been looking for a nice set of dual ended brush markers. This set was a pleasant surprise. Let's take a look.
WHAT ARE THESE MARKERS LIKE?
This set of markers come in a box with the color names listed on the back with a swatch and with plastic trays inside - four layers. Each pen has a colored cap on it with a ring on the other end to match to show what the color is like. There is a black cap on the other end where the fine tip marker is. The colored cap is the larger brush marker. The caps are not interchangeable from the fine tip end to the brush end- a GOOD thing so they don't get mixed up.
ODOR?
There is a faint odor to these, but it is not bad at all and vanishes quickly. It vanishes leaving no trace odor at the end.
CAPS FIT ON OTHER END?
This is a good feature of these- BOTH CAPS FIT ON THE OPPOSITE END WHILE IN USE. Even though the caps on each end are different sizes, they do fit on the opposite end of the pen when you are using it.
HOW DID THESE PERFORM?
I have a photo I will attach of swatches of these. In some cases the caps do not match the color well, but in many cases they do. The caps are kind of weird- they have a ridge on them instead of a clip which seems to indicate that they can slide into something, but there is no indication of what if anything that would be. My best guess is that the edge is flat so that you can lay the pens down and they won't roll all over the desk, table, etc
As a water based set of markers, they do blend well like watercolors do. They are sheer and do not get muddy when overlapped (unless you mix muddy colors). You can vary the lines by pressure and they work well.
The colors are brilliant and very clear too- not cloudy. There is mention of the colorless blender pen, but there is not one listed in the box. I assume that is a separate purchase?
ARE THESE ACID FREE
These are listed as acid free on the manufacturer's website.
CAN THESE BE BLENDED WITH WATER?
If you work quickly on watercolor paper, you can blend these with water but it is tricky. You have to experiment. A colorless blender might be the better choice for blending.
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THESE?
Okay, here is the problem. These are labeled with numbers on the box and on the manufacturer's web site. These numbers have a color name also. The problem is this- NOWHERE ON THE PENS IS THERE ANY NUMBER OR NAME AT ALL. So, if you run out of a color, how do you tell them which one you want a replacement of? Do they sell these separately? I did not find anywhere on the company site where you can purchase any of these singly, so perhaps you just have to buy another set.
Visually, you will be able to work your way through these sets if you make a chart and label them the best way you can. Despite the challenges, they are nice pens.
THE BOTTOM LINE
For a nice assortment of bright dual tip brush markers with a fine point also, this is a great set. It provides a nice range of colors which are clear, brilliant, and blend well. They are not marked for reference, so matching the numbers and names on the box is difficult in some cases.
MY RATING
FIVE STARS. I love these, but not having them marked with numbers or names is confusing and does not make sense since the numbers and names are listed on the box. This is more like FOUR AND A HALF, but I have to pick FIVE due to the colors being so brilliant and the caps fitting on both ends while using, which are most important.
This set of 48 double ended fiber tipped ink pens enables me to make different kinds of sketches. I can use them with a little water to make a sort of wash to fill in a background with the broad, brush style ends. And, I have experimented with blending wet strokes to get new colors and effects. The .7 mm dia ends can be used for line drawings and to fill in small areas like eyes or to make fine strokes like grass. My grandkids will probably enjoy using a set of these dual tip pens with more challenging coloring books. Provides every color you are likely to require and some colors you might rarely use. Versatile, complete, pen set with some unique colors.
Each coloring pen has two options: (1) removing the bottom cap provides a thin line, like a pencil [see top line under box in photo]; and (2) removing the top cover provides a thicker line, functions like a paint brush [see second line in photo]. The color range is awesome and the colors run true. I got this for an adult coloring book and these coloring pens are exactly what I needed. I keep the pens in their plastic trays and store in box.
