They are perfect for holding quilting projects. I have four quilt-piecing projects going, from wall hangings to a twin bed quilt, and each of these cases holds the all the supplies (fabric, blocks, strips, etc.) for each project. They stack so I can easily see which project I want to work on, and for the hand piecing quilt, the opened case sits nicely in my lap and I can hand piece without taking the fabric out of the case. The plastic is not extra thick, but it's also not too thin. It's also not brittle. The plastic feels "nice." There is an adequate handle to grab the case. The only drawback, which is not a drawback for me, is that the case probably is not well-suited to be carried by the handle. When I move the cases, I orient them as if they were laptops - so that the lid does not accidently open and spill all the fabric pieces, thread, needles, etc. I don't know if the lid would open, but it's not worth taking the chance as far as I'm concerned. I'd buy more, if I decided to do more than 6 piecing projects at a time. They are fantastic

Love these! I bought these to fit into ikea shelving to store my son’s activities (ie. various art supplies, math activities, fine motor activities, kinetic sand with sand toys, hot wheels, legos, train sets, small blocks, puzzles etc.) I can fit four- five to an ikea expedite shelving cubicle. Originally purchased a set, but had to go back and order a couple more sets!!! He can just grab a container and go play. Organization and clean up is extremely easy and accessible for him.

These are great if you're storing them stacked on top of each other. They fit a full stack of 8.5x11 paper-- which is what I'm using them for. You could use them for many other organizational purposes as well. My only complaint is that the clips that snap together to hold the case shut don't actually clip shut on all of the cases. This makes having different storing strategies for the cases challenging because they can just burst open if they're not stored flat and stacked. Not ideal, but not the end of the world. If I need to purchase something like this again I'll probably do more research to find a more durable/ secure option.

These cases are great, good size for a craft project, and four of them fit perfectly in a 13"x13" Ikea cubby bookshelf. Great for organizing my projects.

I brought these to store different signs for my different theme of the year. These are the perfect size for my word cards, posters, and other laminated items.

However, like everyone says the claps are hard and not always tight. Theses work for storage and organizing, however if you are planning on opening them a lot and having children use them I would think they would break

These are nice little plastic cases. Plenty of room for my classroom information. I had a question and the customer service was surprisingly caring and helped me set up my classroom the way i needed to. Super fast response time too! I'll buy again because I trust them...it's rare to find a company that answers their customers personally with an understanding tone and a sincere desire to help a teacher! Thanks soooo much!!

These were purchased for my wife who's a school teacher. These were purchased to help segregate her circulum. She says the latches work great and they open up all the way. They are definitely keepers.

These are great of you have papers that need to be filed, but hate having file folders. They keep everything you need in one place without it falling out of you pick it up. I only have one that does not close, but getting 10 for that price is great. Easy to label and I recommend for any teacher to curriculums together.

Great product. I use it to organize units for my classroom. Make sure you bend the clamps back and forth a few times before use.

I am a professor, and am always carrying around papers. These boxes provide protection from handling and the weather. They fit up to about a ream of 8.5" x 11" paper (500 sheets). Just what I was looking for.
