InstaMorph - Moldable Plastic - 6 oz

I spent over 1000$ on two flippers for my missing tooth. I can't afford another so I purchased this I can make over 100 now. I made it look better than the dentist. All for just 10$ I wish I just found this earlier. So easy too just boil water wait for it to cool and mold it urself. If u don't have fancy tools I used a clean nail cutter. Also don't eat turmeric powder w it it stains a weird yellow. Luckily my teeth are kind of white ish so I didn't have to put mines in tea or coffee. Hope this helps! A must buy!

I'm very happy with this! I broke off half of my front tooth...it was a porcelain veneer...doing something dumb: tearing duct tape with my teeth. What's worse is I cannot find the part that broke off, otherwise I would've just super glued it back on. Anyway, not being rich I did a lot of online research. I decided I'd try this (and a package of fake individual teeth). Turns out this is all I need. This is by no means a permanent solution, but it will work as long as I am willing to pop a small bowl of water into the microwave, heat it 30 seconds, then use a small spoon to form the plastic into a very thin strip, and place the strip over my front teeth and begin stretching/forming the plastic to custom fit. I use the spoon along the edge of the bowl because once you take it out, it starts to cool and set so try to form as much as you can in the water with some sort of tool. For me, it's easier to basically mold it onto two or three existing teeth than trying to form one single tooth. From there, I can use wire cutter pliers and/or a box cutter to cut off the excess and shape it to my mouth. The good thing is I can re-immerse it back into hot water to make it pliable again to tweak it. I leave it in my mouth and drink something cold to set it. I can get about 2 or 3 days of use out of one molding. After that, all the coffee and other foods stain it beyond a normal color. I also have an upper molar missing and can easily stick the plastic up there, clamp down to mold it against the bottom tooth. I'm getting the hang of it. There's a lot of flexibility knowing if you mess up, all you have to do is start over by waiting less than a minute for water to heat up. Definitely cheaper than the $1,200 to replace the veneer, or $600 to fix it. I will get it fixed, I just need time to save some money. This product bought me that time.

Amazing stuff!! Easier to use than many reviews led me to believe. Microwave a mug of water (any amount) until almost boiling. Drop in some drops and it instantly turns clear and is ready. It all clumps together. Pull it out with anything and start rolling it in your fingers. It never burned my sensitive fingers. And I had more time to mold it into my tooth hole than I thought. You can always pop it right back in the water to resoften it. I have been using one tooth for six months and it finally turned orange from tomato sauce. I can use it for chewing most food. It never comes out on its own, yet is so easy to pull out on purpose. Be sure to leave it in place as it slowly turns white. Pulling it out early to run it under cold water causes you to squeeze it and change it’s shape. Patience. Maybe swirl cold water in your mouth if in a hurry. Changed my life!

Ok so I have had this about 2 weeks. I don’t do reviews for products. I do for hotels. But I think after all the research I have done that I need to write this. First of all it came fast. I have a chipped tooth in the front. And a missing tooth. I grind and clinch my teach a lot. And I eat a lot of ice. When I got the tooth pulled in the front. I was devasted! I never really did research on dental. So they said I could get a flipper for 800 bucks. And I would get it he next day. To be honest. I didn’t know what a flipper was. I did t know it as temporary. I had paid 2600 to get the flipper and 6 teeth extracted. He said I needed to get 4 more removed. Or fixed. And it would be expensive. So I have had The flipper for about 4 years. Just about 3 months ago my bottom tooth and another one in the front started giving me problems. Both of hem chipped. And abcessed. Well I don’t have the available funds like I had 4 years ago. Not to mention it hurt to put on the flipper. And the tooth it was replacing was noticeable while. I speak at shows. And have had to do shows with a missing tooth. I have been so embarrassed. I saw ads for veneers. Etc. I even saw one on Facebook for 20 bucks. I ordered that before I ordered this. That was 6 weeks ago. It still has not come. Smh. Anyway. I researched dental things. And I saw this. I looked at so many videos before I ordered. It was 10 bucks. So what the heck. But I also orders one off of wish. Which is the same price. For about 50 beads.

Anyway. I soaked it it tea before i did it. I soaked it for like 8 hours. My first tooth was not so good. But I still liked what I knew would happen. So I worked on it. Everyone says don’t let it harden in your mouth. Well I do. Because the place where my tooth is missing has a huge gap. I have learned to do different things these past couple of weeks. So what I do is I make it so it goes across to the chip tooth. And I fill that In. To make like a bridge. I make sure I get it on the roof of my mouth for security. Because if you sneeze. It might come out. (Ask me how I know lol). So I have made them better and better with time. Today was my best one. I eat with it. I sleep with it. Not the first time. Because I made them too loose. Also I learned a lot. I learned that the abscess comes when food gets into the cavities of the bad teeth. So I made a filling for the one on the bottom. It’s is not visible. But it holds on on very well. I have eaten ice with it today. No issues. If you have missing teeth. Get this. Yes it gets hard pretty fast. But not THAT fast. Just heat it back up. I just keep reheating mine. I mean seriously this stuff ROCKS. WHY AM I JUST LEARNING ABOUT IT.

So update. Yesterday I ate a chicken sandwhich and obviously it was way to hot. And it melted it a bit. And it irritates my tongue. So I had to do my best tooth again. I still made a good one. But it takes me about an hour to get one I like.

I just made a tooth out of this stuff the very first day I got the product to replace a broken crown on tooth 11 just left of my front tooth (which the dentist told me would cost $1,200 to replace, the thief -- the fifth replacement in five years) and it looks great and is solid all day! (At least it works wonderfully well as a temporary while I scrape up the money to go to USC or UCLA dental school and avoid my thieving dentist from now on.) A real life saver! I can smile again! I can only imagine the negative reviews appearing on Amazon about this product are from those representing a much higher priced competitor. (And, no, I did not burn my hands, and, yes, it was easy to mold, and yes, it takes a little work, and I figured out from previous posts you just put two little wings on the back side to anchor it against your other teeth, but I found it easy and I can be quite the klutz!) As for me, this works absolutely great! I am very grateful, InstaMorph, your product has tremendously helped me in my life at a price that is low, low, low! And I have enough left over for fifty more teeth! I don't know what I would have done without you! Thank you!

Description

It's reusable, strong & non-toxic plastic you can mold yourself!

InstaMorph is an advanced modeling compound that becomes moldable when warm (150 deg F) and solidifies at room temperature. It's made out of a lightweight polyester thermoplastic which acts like clay when warm, but when it cools, it's a strong plastic. Unlike other products that once they dry they are locked in that shape forever, InstaMorph can be reheated over and over again and re-molded into any number of configurations.

Instructions

1. Heat some water to 150+ degrees F.
2. Pour InstaMorph pellets into the water.
3. Wait approximately two minutes or until white InstaMorph pellets turn clear and stick together.
4. Remove from the water and get rid of any remaining liquid between the pellets.
5. Form into desired shape with your hands, tools, molds, or any other means necessary.
6. Once you've got your InstaMorph creation finalized, let it cool to room temperature and use.

Ideal for many projects and all skill levels

Mold it with your hands, tools, or press around an object to make a mold. InstaMorph can be painted, machined, carved or attached to other materials.

This is the best $10 that I have ever spent in my entire life!!!! This product is so magical. I got my confidence back 1000% and I can now smile with my whole heart. This is a lifesaver until I can afford to pay for my dental work in February. So easy to work with this product, I made the perfect tooth on the third try & I just used the same beads by dipping them back into the hot water, remolding until I felt it was perfect!!!!!! Don’t think about buying this, put it in your cart, and click purchase immediately!!!!!! I didn’t have to dip the tooth in any coffee or tea as y’all can clearly see my teeth are pearly whites!!!!! Thank you Instamorph, I am so grateful!!!!!

I had a crown fall out because the molar underneath decayed. Due to a change in insurance the dentist can't see me for 3 months, and in the meantime I had a hollow tooth with sharp edges and metal root canal posts sticking up out of it. Long story short, I bought this hoping I could cover the rough non-tooth-tooth but not having much hope there was enough left to stick it to. Literally the moment this came I tore it open and threw a pinch full into a cup of near-boiling water. After it turned clear and bunched together into a little ball, I fished it out of the water and smooshed it into the gap where what's left of my molar is, then swished around some ice-cold water in my mouth to set it.

To my happy surprise, enough of it molded to the sides of the surrounding teeth that it holds itself in place (with a slight "pop" as it slides in, locking itself in, which it can do because it is ever-so-slightly flexible when cool); I can easily pop it in and out, but it's still tight enough of a fit to keep food and water from getting up under in and into the giant cavity beneath where my crown used to be and I can even eat with it in and it feels just as solid as the real crown used to. I couldn't be more pleased that I tried this - it'll hold me right on through until I can get to the dentist, and I may even decide to keep using it instead of having an implant put in.

The one note that i had (that keeps it from being great) is that yes, hot food *can* melt it. I ate a piece of pizza straight out of the microwave earlier (and as we all know, microwaves turn pizza sauce into lava), and it melted the top of my "new tooth" enough to make it rough to the touch. The best part? It's the SAME THING as other products being marketed as temp dental material that sells for three times the price!!!

I made 2 1/2 sets of dentures using Billy Bob teeth and instant morph.
They fit perfect with out
Any adhesives. That is a huge plus. Love my new
"Dentures" that didn't cost me hundreds of dollars

My moms tooth, 3rd from the left, fell out and she has been so insecure. I bought this because it was affordable and simple. I paid for 2day shipping, Ordered Tues 7am was supposed to come Thurs but received it Wed at 12 in the afternoon. I tried it out; the directions are simple and after playing with it, you get the hang of making it. It's secured, not uncomfortable, and taste/odorless. It definitely beats having a gap.. I tried soaking it in tea to match my yellow ass teeth LOL but was impatient so no luck. But my mom is super happy despite the color difference, so we're satisfied customers!

I was very self conscious about a lost tooth. It wasn't terribly visible, except when I smiled or laughed, so I stopped smiling with my mouth open, and I pretty much stopped laughing altogether. I don't have the money to plunk down $3000 for a new tooth, so I searched Amazon for "fake tooth". I saw a few tooth replacement kits, and after reading the reviews for the kits, saw that many people used the InstaMorph instead. I placed my order and anxiously awaited the pouch of InstaMorph. It took a few tries to get it right, but I'm so pleased with the results! The tooth that looks the best was a bit loose, so I use just a tiny drop of Fixodent and it holds in place firmly and looks so natural! The tooth is just a bit whiter than my natural teeth, but since it's a premolar and not terribly visible, I haven't bothered trying to darken it. I drink coffee, so it will probably darken on it's own. Eating with my fake tooth isn't terribly difficult, and I'll most likely take it out when I eat at home. I may someday get an implant, but until I can afford to do that, I'm so happy with this. So happy to be able to laugh and smile again!
