I am a survivor of hurricane Maria in Humacao Puerto Rico. I was able to purchase this EasyGo Washer after the hurricane left us without electricity. It feels great to be able to wash my clothes. This washer is awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!
After having to go trough 2 cat. 5 hurricanes (Irma and Maria) in Puerto Rico in the span of two weeks it's a relief to have this little washer to ease the clothes washing process while going on day 52 with no power...
Great option for an off grid situation, camping or grid down. This hand crank machine works well for small loads but could use some improvement.
The plastic frame moves a lot almost to the point of bending or breaking. It did not come with a pin to hold the crank on the barrel. There is no filter or anything so pet hair clogs the drain inside and the drain tube on the outside. Also I feel that it ends up using more water than antisipated.
Send to our relatives in PR since they have no electricity yet. They’re loving it... thanks
Ive had it for awhile now and i think its great. Bigger than i expected and I’m sure if i take my family camping, that will come in handy. I’ve mostly used it for delicates that I’ve had to hand wash in the sink....no more of that for me, beats up my hands....i also use it for soaking and washing my sons baseball pants and hats...way better than using a bucket, and its hard to wash in the bucket after soaking. The only thing I’ve had a problem with is the lid. Have to have the screw on the top completely out of the hole before putting on the lid and turning it to lock. The instructions were useless really as the pictures help more than anything but it was easy to put together

Description
The EasyGo Washer is a convenient and portable method of washing clothes. Our hand crank washer is great for areas with no electricity like camping and boating. It is a small washer that is convenient to take on your boat or camping, and it can be used in a dorm room where a hand clothes washer is needed. This portable washer can be used for small loads for single people and can wash 7 to 8 dress shirts, 10 T-shirts, 30 pairs of socks or 2 pairs of blue jeans per load. Don't waste your precious time going to the laundromat for 1 to 3 hours when you can wash in the convenience of your own home with your own manual washer. This non-electric washer has come a long way compared to the wash tub and washboard for laundry. Our portable washer has similar features to the laundry pod and wonder washer. In fact, a portable washer and dryer are a great alternative to RV washer dryer combos or a compact washer dryer that take up more space and cost more to use. Our manual clothes washer uses less water and no electricity. This mini washer is so easy to use and very economical. After finishing your washing cycle, just attach the drain spout to our clothes washer and it will automatically drain into the sink or bathtub. Then fill the mini washer again with clean water for rinse cycle. EasyGo portable dryers available.
I've known about this contraption for a few years. Consulted to a company that was looking at ways to reduce water consumption with laundry washing. I've tried it at home, and a bit sloppy with water after the wash cycle, but it was bought for my son who is in his first year at college. To me, this is an ideal purchase for a college kid in a dorm. Wash/dry is $7-10 per load at a laundromat. Socks, athletic shorts, underwear, etc. are all appropriate for this device. Buy it and a good laundry rack (~$70-80 total), and they pay for themselves in savings in less than a semester. Not including time saved and not worrying about stolen or "lost" socks. College-dorm appropriate since the washrooms are fully-tiled and it uses very little water and takes up little space.
I've done three wash 'loads' with this thing, and so far, it's okay, but I have notes, so to speak. :)
First, start by trying WAY LESS detergent than the instructions say. I tried washing a towel per the instructions, and the number of gallons of water it took to get the soap back out, was NOT ecological. I lost count after eight (yes, 8) rinse 'cycles'.
Second, the drain attachment. Be prepared for the split second between when it opens the valve, and when it locks on, to leak more water than one would expect. I tried using it with a towel under it, and finally just used it in the shower. The shower's actually great for filling, draining, rinsing... All in all, I don't regret the purchase, and will use it periodically. It's easier on the hands and arms, than straight-up hand washing, and I was impressed with how dirty the wash water came out.
This little washer was as described. Arrived on time.
Great little washer. It cleans well and is easy to set up. It is great for hand-washables. Very little detergent needed yet the clothing comes out clean. I also purchased the Laundry Alternative Nina Soft Spin Dryer which makes the perfect combination. The washer will take up to one sheet at a time if needed.
There are a couple of designs to choose from - primarily the lids being different... Doesn't change the way they wash. I purchased this for a few delicate items along with washing items that will knowingly run (color bleed) to insure I don't turn everything pink. It will also function as an emergency washer for our camper in the summer. Won't use it much but nice to have when needed.
