So all the reviews I read about this machine were accurate. You need to put a little work into it for it to be just perfect.
What you will need:
Garden Hose
Hose connecting Adapter
Clamp Rings
Eye Hoods
Craft Wire

Working with what you have:
The hose is 2 small and you need an adapter. I found a simple solution by going to home depot and getting a clear hose to attach to the hose. Before inserting the hose I inserted a plastic connector into the open end of the washing machine hose.
This allowed the hose to remain in place in the clear hose.
I then used clamp rings to make sure it would not come out and hold it together.
I have made this portable mini washing machine into a non-movable one by putting the hose to drain in the sink.
I attached eye hooks to the wall and used craft wire to wrap around the hose and threaded it through the hooks.
The hose for intake is also too small.
Easy fix for that situation as well.
I took a garden hose found an adapter for my kitchen sink ( don't drink tap water anyway so removed tap filter to place adapter)
Now when I want to use the machine I only have to connect the hose and fill the tub with hot or cold water depending on what I'm washing.

Rating:
I gave this machine 4 stars because of the work I had to put into it to work. But also when I received it in the box, it looked brand new, it did not work. The machine would not agitate. I refused to have to return it so I decided to open up the back panel. it seemed that a connector had come undone or just not placed in snuggly. I reconnected it and the machine started working.
I bought this machine for 100.00 and it was every bit worth it. I invested another 15 dollars tops for the hoses, adapter, and eye hooks.
I have saved over 200.00 in the last 5 months. The machine works very well. I got the largest capacity

Review:
I don't normally write long reviews or steps I take when buying stuff online. I'm a single mom but DIYer (do it yourself-er). However, I figured other moms may be looking into a washing machine that is affordable and this by far takes the cake for me. The machine has the tub area and the spin section as you may have seen in the videos. If you overload the machine it won't agitate very well. Just remove a couple of items and you will see the machine agitate and swirl. The spinner really does remove all the excess water and practically dries the clothes. I have hung up my clothing in the bathroom for a period of 1-3 hours and the clothing has been completely dry. (side note jeans take a little longer). Another side note. I like to keep my apartment cold because I'm always so hot and the clothes still dried in that amount of time.

Another thing and caution. I didn't realize the lid was fragile or I didn't judge my own strength. I put some weight on the lid and it cracked. Not chipped or broken just a line so don't put anything heavy on the lid or you may crack it as well.

Hope this review helped. I would definitely buy this product again.

Big capacity - as of 12/2016 it is the biggest twin tub washer available to the US market. Panda sells two 19lb models but they have been out of stock and their distributor tells me they aren't receiving any for a few more months. So as of now, this Della is the KING of portable washers!

Great washing action. Uses very little laundry detergent like a super high efficiency machine. The biggest issue is the water inlets being on the back of the machine whereas others have them on top. Having them on top is a better design. When they are in the back, water tends to leak due to gravity and the flimsy hose which is far from water tight. Nothing major but expect a few drops on the floor. Considering this Della is almost $100 less than the 19lb Panda, it's a small hassle.

Filling the wash tub takes forever. If you have a 5 gallon bucket, filling it in the shower and then dumping it into the washer would be much faster. I just do it the intended way and multitask while it's filling.

• PRO TIP: Because it takes so long to fill, I generally wash my whites first since they won't bleed and reuse the water for subsequent loads.

• PRO TIP: Rinsing is done in the spinner. The manual doesn't cover this but all you do is connect the water hose to the spinner side and let the faucet run for a minute or two while it's spinning. Turn off the water and let it spin another 2-3 minutes to dry. Easy peezy.

• PRO TIP: Don't overload! The clothes should be able agitate freely in the wash tub. If it has any trouble moving around, you either got too much clothes or too little water. In general, I don't fill past halfway and the water level should be above the clothes.

• PRO TIP: The drain hose is meant to hook over the ledge of a sink but the pump is a bit weak and definitely benefits from having the hose low, especially when it comes to draining out that last bit of water. If you have the ability to drain into a bathtub, that's your best bet.

I find it a bit loud. Having the lids closed cuts the noise some but it's not quiet. I live in an older building with thin walls and floors so maybe the vibrations are amplified. Having some sort of rubber mat underneath would help.

The plastic lint filter is worthless. My advice is to visit your local dollar store, or Daiso if you have one nearby, and pickup the floating lint filters that you just drop in with your load. Something like this: Flower-type Washing Machine Floating Lint Mesh Bag Hair Filter Net Pouch,Blue

Other than that, it works well and is heaven sent if you live in a small space or don't have washer/dryer hookups. Don't expect the spinner to get your clothes completely dry. It's more like 70% dry and you hang dry the rest. Blowing a fan or space heater towards them helps if drying indoors. Running a dehumidifier at the same time, even more so. If drying outside, nothing to do other than let Mother Nature run its course.

UPDATE - 12/2017:
I've had it a year now and use it at least once a week and it still works like a champ. The one thing is sometimes the water doesn't drain from the spinner and it causes the spin to come to a complete stop. To fix it, I turn off the timer, turn on the drain on the wash side until it starts to drain, then switch back and that always fixes the issue. I've read about "priming the pump" and I believe that's what this is referred as.

Well. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I spent many months researching this product and read dozens if not hundreds of reviews. I came to the conclusion that all of these portable twin tub washers provide the same function and produce the same results. I live in a micro apartment (less than 225 sq. ft.) so my primary concerns were fitting this into my space and avoiding laundromats. I was fully aware of the various complaints made by other reviewers and went into this purchase with eyes wide open.

First. Delivery was in 2 business days.

Second. Package arrived in good condition and washer was well packed inside.

Third. On initial inspection, item appeared new and was undamaged in any way.

Fourth. I wanted to plug it in and check for operation before trying to do a load of wash.

Fifth (and here's why only 4 stars). Sure enough, I plugged it in, turned on the wash-side timer and heard the motor turning, but the agitator wasn't moving. I stopped the was timer and turned on the spin timer. That worked fine. I'm not AT ALL mechanically inclined, but I figured that since I could hear the wash motor turning but the agitator was not, that either there was a loose, missing, broken or unconnected belt. So I tipped the washer over, located the access panel on the bottom rear, removed it and looked inside. There it was. The belt had, in fact, intact come loose from the pulleys between the motor and the agitator. So, carefully, with my hand, I reached down and reattached the belt to each pulley then gave it a couple of good hand turns. I put the panel back on, tipped the washer back upright and tested the wash side again. It worked perfectly and the whole "repair" took about 2 1/2 minutes out of my day with no real frustration.

Bottom line, I think that the engineering of these washers is sound. But think the assembly quality is the problem. But still I'm very happy with my Della 9 kg washer. It fits my needs and makes my life less aggravating.

I hope this helps. Good luck and God bless.

I've used it for about a month now. Works great. Let it dry out with the doors open to prevent mold after each use. I fill and use once for wash and then do it again for rinsing. After you've finished laundry and used the spinner for the last time, you can remove more excess water by putting the drain setting on again. Hope this helps. I use it in combination with my ventless dryer. I was able to wash a twin comforter and more in the same load. The twin comforter went by itself in the spin dryer. You have to pack the clothes in the spin dryer firmly to keep the spinner balanced. (I'm trying to write everything I can think of to help you avoid frustration). It arrived in fantastic condition. I live in Alaska, but had it shipped to portland and then oversize checked to Alaska on the plane when my sister came up. Its very light, about 37lbs. I also purchased a file cabinet caddy so I could roll it around without lifting it everywhere. I added a photo of what I'm talking about. You can get them at office depot or on amazon. Just double check the dimensions.

I received my Della yesterday... I was very excited to try it. I did a lot of research and looked at different brands and the pump sold me on the Della!!!! I tried it today first a small load then 4 towels....... IT WORKED GREAT!!!! The agitation is very strong and the wash side is bigger than I thought it would be. You definitely cannot over fill the spin side and you must make sure the clothing lay as evenly as possible or the machine will shake. I must say the instruction booklet was of no help. But, the good thing is operating the washer is very straight forward. Others have mentioned this so I will say the outlet, input and drain cords should be longer but it worked for me!! Also, the water input cord fit perfect on my kichen fauset. I would definitely recommend this item!

I have a huge family! My 6 children, husband, grandmother and myself. I wash all of our laundry. My regular washer died on us and I'm still deciding between two different brands for my new set. I got this one, to wash our clothes for now and to have, just in case anything like this happened in the future.

Now. I started using this right out of the box and I used it for 4 days, 12 hours at a time. I had 2 weeks worth of clothes for 9 people! Including bed sets of all sizes even king! I filled it over the fill line, used hot water and put in way more laundry pieces than was recommended. I treated this washer in the worst manor possible!
My wash was super clean! The washer itself is in perfect working order even after the abuse I put it through. Now the 9 of us have clean clothes again and I never had to set foot in a laundromat (that are dirty and other people use.) Ill probably even use this for emergency situations like needing a specific outfit for some type of occasion.

When push came to shove this wonderful little machine saved my family a ton of cash, time, hand washing and unwanted travel.

I am currently living somewhere where we (me and my mother) don't have our own washer and dryer. We share a facility with the other residents in our building. Usually the machines are either in use or broken, and so we have to wait until late at night to wash our clothes and hope that there are enough machines working so we can actually finish the job.

I had a portable washer before, and it was ok. It did not have a spinner, so I had to manually wring my clothes dry. It was also very small. I decided to give the idea of a portable washer and dryer another try. This time I wanted to get a washer with a spinner so that I would not have to wring my clothes dry. I did a lot of searching online before I figured out what option I wanted to go with. I found this one to be the biggest one in my price range.

This washer is much bigger than any of the pictures or even videos would imply. This thing holds about the same amount of clothes as a conventional washer and dryer. It comes with an attachable hose, a metal ring to hold the hose on a faucet, and an insert to place in the spinner to help level the clothes. It comes well packed with styrofoam to stabilize the package, plastic wrapping on the surface, and within a bag. This item was also eligible for Amazon Prime shipping at the time that I got it, which meant I was able to get it in two days. It is currently the largest portable washer on the market.

This thing is huge! As I stated before, it almost fits the same amount of clothes that a regular washer will fit. The spinner side is smaller than the washer, and will fit less clothes, but since it spins the clothes in a relatively quick amount of time, that is not much of an issue. You can also use the spinner and the washer at the same time. The water intake hose is very narrow, which means that it will take a long time to fill the basin. I ended up using a bucket to speed up the filing. At a recommendation from another reviewer, I also got a small rug to place this on during the spin cycle to minimize the vibration.

The instructions for this machine are hilarious. It is obvious this was made in an Asian country and imported to the USA. The translation is so funny that I kept them for a laugh in the future. The controls are simple enough that you can figure them out yourself. Basically, you add the clothes to the washer side, and make sure that they can agitate freely, and that the water level is able to go higher than the clothing level. There is no set maker but the basin has a lip over the edge as well as the lid, so it is hard for water to spin out. Speaking of spinning, the agitator is very powerful. Refer to the video reviews to see exactly how it works. It is amazing! You just pick the laundry wash type and turn the timer, and it starts!

The agitation cleans your clothes like you would not believe! I was shocked when I went to drain the water. Also, this has a built-in pump so that you don't have to manually drain anything. It has a built-in drain hose that you can hook over the side of a sink or a tub to drain the water. Once you drain the water, then you can rinse. As another reviewer mentioned, you rinse the clothes by putting them in the spinner and then connecting the hose to the spinner inlet. You connect the hose to the sink, and start running the water through it. Turn the spinner on and continue to run the water for 2 - 3 minutes and that is how you rinse the clothes. You can also rinse them by just filling the tub with water and running the washer again and draining it until the water runs clear, but that is more work.

The spinner works beautifully. It fits less clothes than the washer, so for every full wash you will probably spin twice. It is very important to make sure the clothes are level when you put them in or else the machine will not be balanced and will vibrate rather noisily (the small rug underneath can help minimize this noise). Put the clothes in and make sure that they are evenly distributed. Press them down with the insert for the spinner, and then just turn it on. It spins the water out and gets the clothes very close to dry. Then you can hang them and that is it!

One very important thing I need to mention is that this may trip either your circuit breaker or the GFI on your outlet depending on your wiring. When I first got this, it ran for two cycles and completely stopped. The timer would run, but the agitator was not working. I did everything I could think of to figure out what was wrong, and lo and behold, changing the outlet worked. If your machine is not working, please make sure to try another outlet and check your circuit breaker/GFI switch to make sure that the problem is not there. Otherwise you may end up hating/returning a perfectly working machine.

This has been a lifesaver for me and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a washer but who cannot get a traditional one. This is my new favorite appliance in my house!

I have only had this washing machine for a week. So far I can say it washes clean', the pumps work as it should and the spinner is very powerful. No complaints so far. The clamp on the intake hose works for me.

Today is July 29th....follow up. I had a problem with spin dry and the company replaced the machine immediately. This machine cleans wonderfully. Also the customer service is excellent on this product. I am glad that I purchased it. I have recommended it to others.

The machine itself is amazing and cleans stuff really well. I had to use the reviews here and YouTube to figure out how to work it because my instructions had been translated from Italian and never really corrected. The pictures were pretty unhelpful too so I'll share what I learned:

Store this close to the kitchen sink for easier access. The cord is short so invest in an extension cord of some sort. You will absolutely need to fill this from a sink so be prepared for that. It's also bigger than you think probably and weighs 9kg empty. I'm disabled and it's difficult for me to carry so I have to scoot it everywhere so keep the size and weight in mind. I'm about 6 foot and this comes up to my stomach and is about as wide abouts two of me. So it's about the size of a full machine.

You have to fill it from the back. The detached hose connects to one of two of the small circular bits in the back. The one for the washer is just that, for the rinse and wash cycles. The one for the dryer I'm told helps get suds out of clothes but I have no idea how that would drain to eventually dry clothes so I don't use it. Instead I keep using rinse cycles until the clothes are totally clean.

There's a small metal ring that comes with this meant to clamp the larger end of the fill hose to the sink faucet. If yours is anything like mine, good luck getting any of that to work. You'll have to invest in an adapter. Take the hose with you to a real physical store so you can find a proper fit instead of trying to figure it out online. You'll save yourself so much trouble.

The hose that gets the dirty water out should probably feed into a large bucket of at least 5 gallons. It's hard for the machine to pump it all up to the sink so you'll have an easier time with the bucket. Invest in some kind of very flat, absorbent kitchen rug to put the machine on because water will drip no matter how careful you are. Plus it'll keep the machine from shaking everywhere when you try to dry things.

Put your laundry in one piece at a time to minimize tangling. A tangled mess keeps the washer from rotating properly. Also be careful to fill the dryer only about half full otherwise anger will possess your machine and it will shake across your kitchen and generally be a horrible nightmare of noise and movement. The spin mechanism also needs to rest after so many cycles to keep it from burning out so if your laundry isn't spinning, turn the machine off for about 20 or so minutes before coming back to it. Not as convenient as a regular machine but the safety feature keeps you from messing up your machine accidently.

For ESPECIALLY dirty clothes like muddy work clothes (my husband is in construction) rinse the clothes at about 6. Drain the dirty water because it will probably be close to black and then wash at max time with your detergent of choice. Then follow up by a drain and rinse at 9 because the water will again be nasty and the rinse helps get suds out. You might need a couple of wash or rinse cycles for especially gross clothes. Then load the dryer a bit at a time, hanging up clothes that are mostly dry because the machine won't get them totally done since it's just spin and no heat.

Regular dirty clothes can be washed like normal but will need a rinse cycle because of suds and don't forget to put delicates on gentle with bras in a lingerie bag.

That's all I can think of for now. I recommend reading the instructions anyway because there's some useful information like keeping your machine on a sturdy, level surface and whatnot. I'll try to post photos later of what mine looks like set up in my kitchen in case what I've said wasn't clear.

 Update 8-30-18
It’s been six months since I bought my Della and I’ve loved it for saving me money. I’ve run it through the laundry gauntlet doing laundry twice a week at about 6 loads a day and it just keeps on going. I’ve been tweaking it as I go along trying make it more convenient. First I added hoses because the ones that come with it are just garbage. I went to Lowe’s and got 1/2” OD x 3/8” ID hose and was able to push the hose into the inlets on the back and it creates a nice water tight seal. The 1/2” brass connectors I got so I could hook up to the shower wand hose; trust me filling it any other way is a hassle. Now I can fill it just like a regular washer, I just time it for about 7-8 minutes and just shut off the water.

In my old apartment I had it beside the tub out of the way but now I have to stow it and it’s hard for me to move it back and forth so I got a furniture dolly and added to that for storage for all my laundry supplies. I love how it turned out. My husband makes fun of me for doing it but even he said it looked really nice, even though he can’t figure out the washer lol. He says it’s too complicated.

Update: 4-8-18
This washer has been really good at tackling the large amounts of laundry me and my husband go through. Yesterday I put it through the ultimate test and washed about 8 loads of laundry (Della Sized) it washed through with no issues. Also even to my surprise I’ve been able to wash my queen sized quilt and run through the spin dry. I wouldn’t wash anything bigger or thicker than a quilt.
The only thing I’ve noticed is the drain pump sometimes doesn’t want drain immediately, I’ve figured it out that the pump gets tired and can’t get the water up just a few inches into the toilet. I’m going to solve the problem and built a platform to lift it level with the toilet.

Original review:
I received my washer last Wednesday and I couldn’t have been more excited. After months of spending close to $80 a month at the laundry mat I was ready for a way to save money.

When it came out of the everything seemed okay until I tried opening the washer side lid and noticed that it wasn’t opening correctly. The hinge it seems is misaligned and the spring that holds the door open was putting stress on the top portion and I was afraid of opening it until I found a method. That was a quick fix, my husband just took the spring out and now it opens without any issues. I’ve contacted the seller but still haven’t heard anything back.

Now to why I love it, I know it started out bad but this machine has truly helped me save money.

First the size is amazing, I can easily do several shirts and a couple pairs of pants without a problem; my clothes come out cleaner in just the first wash cycle than any of the regular washers. The spin cycle gets the water out so well that my clothes come out damn near dry that after an hour of hanging I can put them away. Now I do still use the dryers at my apartment only cause I don’t want to iron, just a preference of mine.

It’s relatively easy to use, now you will have to do some work unlike the other automatic machines; so if you don’t want to work for it this type of machine isn’t for you. When I’m done washing I drain the water then run them through the spinner and rinse, spin again and done. Usually a load takes about 30 minutes from start to finish.

Right now I’m draining into my toilet just for ease but I’ll soon get a suction cup and sticking to drain the hose into my tub so I don’t have to move the machine when I want to use it.

The only real con I have and everyone else has it, is the fill hose. I first tried hooking it up in the back like the directions said to but as soon as I got any real pressure on the line it started leaking. So I’ve been running the hose directly into the tub.

Overall for me it was a great investment, and I’ll see how much money I’ll save overtime of using this washer. Also I use my own homemade laundry soap which gets the clothes cleaner than my gain; and I was a gain princess, wouldn’t use anything else. Now I’m on the homemade powder and love it.
