I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others. It has a much higher air flow capacity than many of the other range hoods costing much more. The electronic display is much easier to clean than push buttons. I like the timer feature that will automatically turn off the fan after a predetermined amount of time. The stainless steel filters are sturdy and easy to clean. The plug on the power cord makes for easy installation, if you have an outlet appropriately placed. My previous range hood was hard-wired, so I had to install an outlet to plug in the new range hood. I wish the clock could be set to the 12 hour format, instead of the 24 hour format, but this isn't a major problem since most range hoods don't even have a clock. The biggest problem I had was that the chimney was about 8 inches too short, requiring me to reuse the chimney from my last range hood, and since the dimensions were different, I had to place wood trim behind the chimney, as a spacer. Overall, installation would be very simple, if your ceiling isn't as high as mine and you could use the provided chimney. The instruction manual was good, but it didn't describe how to install the chimney brackets and the two round spacers that were included. This is a good quality range hood. It was packed very well and arrived within two work days. As I said, in the beginning, I'm very pleased with the quality and ease of installation and would recommend this range hood to others.
Looks great in my kitchen, really do like the modern feel. The fan works really well in removing the smells and the steam from smelly foods like broccoli and cauliflower. The filters are very easy to clean. The reason for the 4 stars is the clock can only be set to military and it's a bit noisy. So if you don't mind 14:00 o'clock then purchase this hood.
Installation of the hood was very straight forward. It looks beautiful. The LED lights and three speed fans are beautiful and functionality perfect. The soft controls are slightly different than the ones shown in the manual but still good.
Sleek look! We ordered for 2nd Kitchen so it sat in the box for a month before opening. Once the contractor opened it, he notice a slight dent on hood. He said it was not noticeable but I contacted company, via amazon. They shipped new one next day! Very happy with product and company response.
