I just made my first hand made (no sewing machine, all hand sewn) handbag using this batting. I can't be happier with the result. It is definitely soft and stable; easy to cut and to sew. It gave my bag a professional look and put the shape of it on full display (not a heap of fabric). For a very long time I did not want to make fabric bags because I disliked the shapelessness. I was going to use quilting batting at first but discovered this treasure in time before starting the project.

I loved the result so much that I ordered another one immediately to make more bags.

Soft and Stable is the standard of the flexfoam products. Unfortunately, its a bit pricey and there are cheaper brands that offer a similar product. However, If you want the best, this is it

Soft and stable is very easy to work with. I've used it in tote bags with great success and used part of this to make a set of placemats for my Mom for her birthday. They were very easy to make, pretty, reversible, and washable. (Of course she loved them)

This is a new product for me. I’ve made a couple of fabrics baskets and they turned out well. I plan on making a travel bag from an Annie pattern

I needed a light padding for a tote bag. It was easy to use and sew through. I would recommend this product.

Soft and Stable is the best foam backing for purses on the market. Even though it is not fusible it is easy to work with.

I recently found this product and used it to make a couple of bags. I really like the stability it adds to the structure of the project. It is harder to use than regular batting. I recommend pinning liberally or what I did was baste. I usually can't be bothered with basting, but in this case it was worth it. I didn't try it but I also think using a spray adhesive to affix the product to your fabric before you sew would be useful.

I love making purses and this product makes it easier than using fusiable batting. It give my purses a finished look and it gives them body so my purses stand up rather than sagging.

This sews up beautifully! I will be a repeat customer.

Excellent for bagmaking. Nonfusible, easy to sew.
