It’s pretty solid and feels well built and tough. If you are drinking one beer after another, then yes of course the beer will stay cold. I mean it will stay cold in my hand too. So I put it to the test (with and without the insert being frozen).
Not frozen: The beer got warm after 30 minutes as the beer tried to cool the insert (but who babysits their beer, really)
Frozen: I placed the frozen insert along with a cold beer from the fridge right before I left to work at 7am. During my lunch hour both the Hopsulator and the beer were still cold. You could actually feel the coldness on the actual outside of the Hopsulator. When I got home at 5pm the beer was chilled, it wasn’t super cold like around lunch time but it wasn't hot either. I opened it and it passed, it was chilled drinkable 👍🏼
Recommendation: make sure the insert is frozen.
I loves this coozie. It fits a 16oz Momster can perfectly as well as a normal 12oz can. You can also get a bottle to fit in the coozie but will have to place a folded paper towel in the bottom. Very happy with this purchase.
Yes! Exactly what I hoped for. I am so excited to write a review for the Brumate, Hoppsulator Trio. First of all, the build quality is amazing. I love the brush, matte style finish. Feels great in your hand, nice grip, and excellent quality. Keeps your delicious cans cold for so long! 16 or 12 oz. I spend a lot of money on quality beers. I want them to be enjoyable to the last sip. Especially the juicy ones! Hats off to Brumates and this insulator. Love the option to use as actual mug too, but I mostly just pop 16 oz cans of fresh hoppy goodness and off I go. Perfect for shows, BBQs, tailgating! Love it. Definitely going to check out more products from this company. Quality is second to none. Reminds me of a certain vacuum insulated hydro water bottle. A little pricier than some, but worth every penny.

This is a great item. Holds 12 or 16 oz cans, water bottles, even some short necked glass bottles. I like the frozen insert when you have 12oz cans. Works as well as others that I have (Yeti) for around the same cost. The one thing that I do not care for is the lid for pour in drinks. It does not fit very tight and has a tendency to pop up. Also would like to see a lid with a slide close over the drinking hole. Would make sense. Other thing would be to make this adapt to 12 oz bottles (standard ones).
What an awesome insulated cooler. Can't wait to use it in Mexico in the hot sun. That will be the true test as far as how well it will stay cold. So far it seems very durable, has a great feel to it and I like the Army green and gray colors. I would highly recommend this koosie over any other product out there because it has three different options to choose from. Look no more for an insulated koosie. This is the one.
Update: Took it them to Mexico and my husband and family used them the whole time. They loved them as a tumbler and beer can holder. Kept the drinks very cold. Wonderful to buy as gifts.

Please read. Compare this to a yeti or any other coosy this thing is flippin awesome. First time I used It I was on a 4 hour drive and had my extra drink in container with previously frozen bottom. I got to my destination and forgot about drink in car. It was a 97* day so pretty hot in car. I went out a few hours later and the drink was still ice cold. Next awesome use I had A drink around 7pm left it by pool on purpose and the next day the insert was still very cold not sure about frozen but pretty cool for a empty glass bottom in there all night.
In doing research for these koozies, I noticed a lot of people had to have a "hack" for their koozie to keep the beer in place. Finally giving in to this, I decided to try the hopsulator as it appeared the most popular of the products... even though it was also most expensive (the only reason for the 4 star is cost).
Anyway, the point of this review is to ensure any potential purchases that the top ring of this koozie catches the beer and holds it in place. There ARE gaps around the outside, but the way the top is designed, it holds the beer snugly so it doesnt twist around in there.
My wife asked for this for Christmas, so I ordered it. It is a really interesting product. It has a block in the bottom that you can pull out and freeze. Once this block is frozen, you can drop it back in the bottom, and the Hopsulator will hold a standard 12oz. can. If you have a 16oz. can, just remove the ice block and it will fit as well.
The slight problem, which is our fault and not the manufacturer’s, is that my wife mainly drinks slim-can beverages (rhymes with Nick-a-lobe). While they fit vertically, they leave space around the can which sort of defeats the purpose. I have been told that Hopsulator makes a can cooler that will hold slim cans, we apparently just ordered the wrong one for her.
Overall this would make a great gift. I really like that it can hold 12oz cans, 16oz cans, and the ice block in the bottom is a really ingenious idea.
So cute but way overpriced. Only super sparkly in good light. Was not aware you could pull the beverage right out without taking the lip off. Did not fit in my standard vehicle cup holder without little force. I bought for the versatility and hoping it will keep 12 ounce beers cold on the hot days in a boat.
This item was great. I saw some reviews where people said that their beer can just slide out of the top but that's only true if your can isn't cold. Once you put a cold can in, it stays secured. I took mine on a recent trip to Hawaii. We used the mugs for hot coffees in the morning and then cold beers on the beach. It was awesome! The hot drinks stayed hot for a while and the cold drinks were very cold. The lid is not leak proof but it is leak resistant. I love this product but I do still find it very expensive. I'm glad that I have one but I will not be buying anymore for myself or as gifts.
