It is always difficult to order something when you haven't seen it. I paid careful attention to the measurements and the measurements of the hood I was replacing. The product fit perfectly and works great. It was promised at a reasonable time and came early. The low fan speed is so quiet, the first couple of times we used it, we were not sure it was on. The medium fan speed is barely noticeable. The high speed is noticeable but it really pulls the air. Three light levels enhance the value of the hood.
Great range hood, we cook every night and this takes care of any unwanted odors. It looks awesome and the light is very bright on the first setting. I wish the filters were easier to remove, although they are very easy to clean.
Good quality and performance consistent with supplier's specifications and promoted performance expectations. While unable to comment on long term reliability given the range hood has only been in use for a little over several months, we're very satisfied with the purchase thus far.
This range hood looks great - the fan and light perform very well - the ONLY note I would make (not a negative) is that in spite of referring to an EZ install - it was not as easy as marketed. We needed a trip to the hardware store for electrical parts and also needed to perform some wiring changes as out outlet accepted a plug and this unit was not designed to "plug in". Luckily my son was home for a visit and he is adept at electrical work.
... but, for all intents and purposes (and intensive purposes), on the highest of the settings for the fan. Lights are downright blinding. Once you figure the installation steps, it is indeed a 1-person job. Figuring out the installation, however, is a 2-person affair. YMMV.

The clean, contemporary shape of glacier complements any kitchen design. Impressive LED lighting and superior smoke and odor removal are a mere introduction to everything this hood has to offer.
I was replacing a previous Broan vent hood with this one and it is a little shorter from top to bottom so there will have to be an adjustment at some point with my backsplash. It works better than my last hood. The on off buttom comes on with the last setting, lights and vent so that is a plus. I have not had to clean the screens yet. It did come with a small dent on the front. I had seen that complaint on many reviews before I bought it so I was not really surprised. Would have been nice if it didn't have the dent but probably won't be the last during its lifetime.
We had problems receiving an I damaged hood. First one was dented, sent it back. Received a second unit, also a small dent on the front. Both times it did not appear to be shipping damage, as the boxes were not damaged. Amazon told me I could return the second one for a refund, but they would not ship a third unit. We really liked the looks of this unit, so bargained for a discount on the dented hood. After installing it, we are very happy with the performance, quiet operation, lighting and design. Everyone that sees it comments on the small dent, so it’s very noticeable.
Installations was mostly straightforward, the metal holders for the unit had me confused at first about which one went on which side. Unit works great using a kit I bought to plug it into an outlet in the cupboards above. Love the fan speeds, lighting is great, and we use the timer setting (run for 10 min then turn off) more frequently then I had predicted.
This item was a replacement for a prior item that was dented. It was great they provided a replacement, however, it caused my projected to be extended. Packaging for hood was not adequate to prevent damage. I think I was lucky for this one to arrive undamaged. We got it installed and it looks great. Nice lighting. We did do the non-vented option and it isn't too loud. Great value!
The first one I got was damaged but other than the hassle of waiting for a replacement I am happy now. The reason for four stars is the damaged one should have been noticed by someone in the process. Not Amazon"s fault. I installed it by myself with some help from the box and some foam padding to prop it up. Works great and is very quiet.
