Broan part same as the Best part, only much cheaper.
Just as expected. Gable mounted. Totally satisfied. BUT NOTE: Figure out a way to use a loose filter - air goes right over engine windings, so dust/debris can collect in engine windings and cause problems.
Have been using this for about 2 weeks now and love that it is much quieter than before when the motor was right in the vent. It is a pretty big unit so it did take some work for the person to install it but overall it is working well. I paired this blower with a Viking Hood
This blower is an upgrade from our 89 purchase and it's ability to suck in those fumes is amazing! The best part is that it does it quietly. Can't believe you get all that power with hardly a buzz. How can this not be perfect?

Great product. Only complaint is that it is on the front of the house. Had to paint it to match bricks so it wouldn't stand out.
Its a quiet and powerful fan for the kitchen and helping pull air through the house on those cool days when we have them here in Florida. Its compact and well designed for a roof of a house. The motor can be got to easy if it had to be replaced, but normally they run for ever.
So far this is working very well. A little difficult to install for me but it got done. We installed it as a down draft so its on the side of the house where nits not easily seen. Quiet too.
This is a very large hood. Double check the measurements and ensure that your exterior location can fit the entire unit. It functions as expected and provides plenty of suction for our range. Noise is greatly reduced since the unit is outside. Some communities require makeup air when using a vent of this power. Keep it in mind when sizing your hood. Overall quality product and simple install once placement is confirmed and the hole is drilled.
Good unit, damper needs beefing up & better seal.
