Titan- 12V DC Double Rack Mount Ventilation Cooling Fan for Refrigerator Vent and Ventilation Grille with Speed Controller (90mm) TTC-SC22

We purchased a fairly new travel trailer in hopes of having no issues in our camping trips. Our friends bought a brand new luxurious trailer and we both had issues with the temperatures going up and down with the outside weather conditions. In the summer our dometic frig got as high as 93 degrees which was heartbreaking for us and of course ruined all our food which was a very expensive loss. We had to go buy more food, lots of ice and 4 large ice chests to get us through our trip which definitely takes away from the joys of owning a travel trailer. We both bought and installed these fans which blows the heat out of the area where the cooling system is and we’ve had no problems since. Freezer keeping everything frozen and frig keeping every refrigerated. No fears of eating spoiled food. These fans are a necessity for every trailer and RV.

The fans installed easily using the brackets supplied. The controller works fine in auto mode.
The directions show the fans installed to blow air out through the vent cover. The natural flow of air is in through the vent cover, through the refrigerator compartment, and then out through the roof vent. Having the fans blow hot air out through the vent works against the natural flow of the hot air (up and out). I installed the fans to blow air into the vent. Under rainy conditions this configuration might allow moisture to be blown into the fans and cause damage to the fans. Do this at your own risk. I installed an in-line 1.5 amp fuse on the +12 volt wire for safety.

Mounted it on upper vent cover for RV fridge in slide. Had to get creative to mount on dometic cover. Hardware provided did not work. Also directions are pretty useless. Reduced my temps in fridge dramatically.

Even though I was not able to use the mounting hardware in my situation, I was able to mount the fans very neatly and cleanly with zip ties to the upper side exhaust vent. Wiring was easy enough with many power points on my Dometic side-by-side fridge. I'm a bit concerned that 20 degrees centigrade is a little low for the automatic setting. I'd like it if I could set it a little higher. However, it ran well and I think it helped the fridge cool faster. Mine takes a good 20 hours to go from 27 to about 4 degrees C. The freezer section develops frost in about an hour.

Purchased this because my RV refrigerator wasn't cooling to low enough temperatures. Both Dometic and Norcold (the 2 largest suppliers of RV refrigerators) know and tell you on their websites that above 90 degrees the refrigerators won't cool below 40 degrees. However, the problem isn't with the refrigerator, but the amount of air moving past the cooling fins. After installing this on my RV this past weekend, my Dometic refrigerator reached proper temperatures (38 degrees) in just 5 hours on a 90 degree day. All I can say is that every RV owner should install aux. cooling to save their equipment and improve its performance.

The airflow would blow out from the side of fan cross grille.
If you revise the polarity (positive to negative), the fan and controller would not work.
Please connect the cable to the same polarity (positive to positive/ negative to negative)

The refrigerator should be installed on or close to the cooling fins of the refrigerator.
You should install the double fan in any case so that the extracted hot air can somehow escape outside, preferably through ventilation slots in the caravan. You can install the double fan in both the lower and upper ventilation shafts.

Needed help ventilating my camper fridge. Before when it reached 90 degrees or higher outside my fridge couldn't keep up. Added this fan to help with the ambient temp around it. It helped but didn't totally solve my problem. Adding this and shading the side of the camper with aside shade did the trick.

These 2 fans have less than a 1amp draw on batteries!!!!!

Just installed last night. I have a dometic fridge, but the vents I have are not like what was pictures in the product. I knew buying it I would have to customize it. Because of how closely the cover sits you the fridge fine I could not attach the fans to the cover. I cut the wood enough to fit the fans and screwed them the the front wall. I put the temperature switch in above the microwave and wired into the existing fan. After I was all done I realized that I really don't need the themostat that came with it since I wired it right into the existing fan. So I am going to redo that part of it.
I turned the fidge on (I am in Arizona) to test... It didn't take long for the fans to kick in and man do they move a ton of air quickly. It cooled the find off in a matter of minutes. So far I am highly impressed with these. Quality is good and exactly what I was looking for. Great value for the price!

I could not install with the included hardware. I ended up using some 1/2” aluminum angle and screwing it to the frame positioning the fans directly in front of the heat exchanger. Other than that it was a very simple install. Their directions are pretty much useless but it is pretty self explanatory. Fans are much quieter than the factory dometic fan that is still installed. They also move a lot more air. Hopefully these fans will keep the temperature down enough to where it won’t kick on anymore. Hopefully they last a long time.

Improves the performance of our camper fridge 100%
