I purchased this with the intention of using it probably about once every one or two days, since I don't have a washing machine hook-up at my apartment or enough space to have a full-sized washer. Since I never two hours (and usually fifteen dollars!) to spend at the laundromat, learning about mini washers was just what I needed! To give you a size of the dimension, it's about as tall as the base of most dining room chairs. It fits neatly into my kitchen, and is perfect for anyone with limited space.
For my first load, it took care of all of my undergarments for the past two weeks and three shirts. The knob on the top has options for up to fifteen minutes of washing/agitating time. You can either fill it manually with water or use the intake hose. Since I think you would need some extra tools for the intake hose, I decided to fill it manually with a bucket. Figuring out how much water to put in is a little dicey, since the instructions are poorly worded and full of misspellings, but "about half-way" was what it said (though I would suggest a bit more than that). Just make sure the drain hose is up and clipped to the side, otherwise you're going to have a LARGE mess to deal with. Put in some water, some detergent, set the timer, and you're good to go!
You will need to hand-wring the clothes out and I recommend a folding rack to dry-- I used AmazonBasics Foldable Drying Rack - White. The unit itself is very light and easy to move. I will try to keep the review updated as time passes to observe longevity and any issues that crop up, but overall I am very pleased!
One downside is that the power cord is very short, and it might be worth it to get an extension cord, keeping in mind that you need the extension cord to accept a three-pronged end.
Works Great especially since I got a Spin Dryer too, I washed, then spin to get the soapy water out.. then put in the washer with clean water to rinse the clothes, then spin again.. This is so much easier then going to laundry or apartment washer and dryer.. You really need both to make life easier. You can hang clothes quickly so the wrinkles go away..
Fair warning to anyone who buys this machine; the hoses are not very long, and they don't actually attach to anything. That said, if you have a detachable shower head you can simply put it over the top of the washing machine and fill out that way. And if your toilet is close enough to the bathtub the hose will reach the bathtub. I work in a mental health facility and in required to wear scrubs everyday. By the nature of the work I do I can have some pretty interesting messes on my scrubs by the end of the day. However, I don't have it washing machine in my apartment. And the washing machines in my complex cost a dollar 75 a load. I have been having to drive to my parents house once a week to do laundry, however I don't have a regular schedule which makes using their washing machine problematic it best. I frequently don't have enough scrubs to make it through the week I've had to wash my clothes in the bathtub to be able to get by until I get to my parents house. Whatever issues and inconveniences may be included in having this particular brand of washer, it more than makes up not having to climb up a flight of stairs with a handful of hangers and a duffel bag of clothing.
I've had my washer for a week now. Here's my pros & cons. 1. I didn't read the details fully before buying so I was surprised that it didn't have a spin cycle. I've learned to be good with that though. 2. It's perfect for scrubs!!! A top, pants, a few socks and you've got a good load of laundry to wash. 3. If you put too much in, it can't spin properly. Too many long sleeves or pants will get tangled together. I have washed scrubs, a very thin hoodie (I mean super thin), cotton pj pants, bra, socks, undies, wash cloths and shirts. 4. I've been doing 2 rinse cycles. No one wants crunchy underwear. Lol 5. I bought Tide with Downey but needs a tad more softener since air dry.
As others mentioned, the cord is short. The intake house is really cheesy and I just put water in myself. PLEASE BE CAREFUL with the drain hose. The instructions SUCK and it says lay the drain hose down. I expected that it doesn't drain until it clicks to do so. Noooooope. Flooded the bathroom. Keep the drainage hose hooked up at all times unless you're absolutely ready to dump water.
It's quiet but does make some noise. I put a bath towel on the floor and put the washer on it. That way if any water escapes, I'm safe. Also muffles sounds a bit.
If you have any question about buying it, know that it makes life much easier. I haven't had a washer in 8 years which I hate. This is a godsend
I love this product!. I use it for my newborn clothes only so 4.4 lbs capacity is plenty for me. It's very powerful for been so Little, clothes get a good shake, a lot better than if i wash it by hand. I live in a small apartment so i have to go out to do laundry. This save me an everyday trip because a baby uses a lot of clothes with the milk spills and whatnots. Also the product original box came inside a big box only with the amazon logo so my landlord got the delivery and didn't know what it was. Thanks for that too!

Works well enough for lightweigh and delicate things that I used to wash by hand. No longer have strength in hands to do so, but don't want to wash these items in apartment coind op machines. Was hoping I could do other small items, but they kind of bunch up in the washer. It fills a need.
I Put this product to the test before we take it camping and found it to be everything it was advertised as! It will meet our needs perfectly. Five stars.
This washing machine has been through a few uses and appears to be holding up well even with very soiled work clothing loads...this item is very useful as an apartment dweller and i am very happy with my purchase so far
OMG, literally used it right out of the box. Because it was my first time, I splashed a little on the floor, I would recommend placing a towel under this or at least around it on the floor. I used my shower head to fill it My first load consisted of 2 women's t shirts, 4 underwear, and a hand towel. I think it would easily handle a few more small items. I set the timer for the full 15 minutes and let it go. It was SUPER quiet and I was very impressed at the movement in the machine. I honestly think this little thing washed my clothes better than my moms regular washer.I drained it in my shower and filled the tub with water and rinsed for 5 minutes and repeated this again. I filled the tub to 75% because the movement does cause some splashing, I am pretty sure if you fill it to the top, it could get messy. I absolutely loved it! In hindsight, my next little washer will have a spin cycle. Mahalo
Does the job efficiently for the smaller, lightweight or personal items like tees and leggings and washable dresses and underwear, sleepwear, pantyhose and tights in a mesh bag. Haven't tried heavy jeans or fleece items yet, or bath towels. You might be able to wash these items as well, but maybe one at a time. I used a spin dryer afterwards and was easily able to hang my items up to air dry in the shower afterwards. All were dry by morning. Well worth the price.
