This was a gift and the recipient likes it, but honestly I thought it was very pricey for what it is. Also, it's annoying that we cannot figure out how to get the dang app to ONLY show you drinks you have the supplies for. It shows you everything that has items you might have and you can build a grocery list for it. I don't want to go to the store. Anyway, other than that, it's pretty clever. I gave it four stars because I felt it wasn't worth $100 I paid and the fact that we can't seem to get it to only give us drinks we can make without sorting through those we can't.
This is great fun and really does take the hassle out of cocktails. I was able to install the software for Perfect Bake as well, same scale works with both programs. Made a speed pound cake in record time while sipping scratch margaritas, works just as they claim. My only complaint, so far the database update for new recipes is lagging behind. In a world full of drink and baking recipes, you would think larger collections would be forthcoming. Manually adding my own recipes and editing others works fine, but it takes time and I have become spoiled by the modern world. I like the purchase, it's been a great addition to my kitchen gadgets.
My first impression of the Perfect Drink Pro!
• Packaging – Nice packaging. I liked the graphics on the outside of box - but was a little confused about how it works from the package.
• Scale – Nice size and weight, I think worth the money - good quality
• Shaker – Nice size shaker, fits in the palm of your hand.
• Stand for device – nice touch!
• Bluetooth connect ability – very easy.
• Instructions easy to read and follow.
• I sampled the pour measurement on the scale and seems right on.
• Like that the scale measures pour after ice has been added to the glass.
The Perfect Drink Pro App:
• A lot of information on this app. Will take some time to go through all of it. Wish it was simpler and shorter, takes a little time but still good.
• Like the helpful hints throughout the recipes. Suggesting flavored vodka’s in some drinks. Nice!
• Really like the list of glass choices and images of the glass options. Helps if you are not sure of a High Ball Glass or Old Fashion.
• Images of drinks, nice touch and also helps (I'm a visual person)
• Shopping list and cabinet inventory a great feature - I love that it gives me suggestions on what to make with what I have in the house
I bought this device as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who is starting to get into mixology. Though I was a bit hesitant at the price at first, it was worth it at the end. He absolutely loves it! The measurement is accurate with many different recipes for him to try out. We have a lot of fun trying out new drinks. The item also delivered promptly and in perfect condition, without even a dent on the box. Props to the seller!
I had zero problems synching it with my old iPad. The app runs great and while I haven't made many drinks with it yet, it seems to know what it's doing.

I think this is a great product, however the receiver 'thinks' they already know how to mix a drink ( which is normally TOO strong ), so I think come summer I will give this a 'whirl' and fix some fab drinks!
I was worried about spending so much on a scale but this is the perfect addition to a home bar. The app is easy to use, you can find new drinks to try or add your favorite recipes. 100% would recommend

One technical issue. The buttons on the scale are on the left and right. The support pad on the bottom is in the middle. When a left or right button is pushed, the unit moves down on that side.
Recommend that support pads be on both left and right sides, directly below the buttons.
