This is well worth it. Perfect for space saving. I am very impressed with the durability and the features of this
Washing machine for under $100.
I was blown away if the power this machine has. Especially the spin feature. Clothes come out almost dry. And that means less drying time. I highly recommend this product for someone single or only does small loads. Definitely five stars!!!
I used to have a Bismi portable electric washer and it served me well for close to 3 years till the motor burned out. I took a chance with this after reading reviews. light weight great. it has 2 water inlets but I just used a pitcher. I was worried about the washing capacity due to the dual parts but I filled it with 8 "pitchers" full maybe 8 gallons? for a portable washer the capacity is friggin huge! first load was a few pairs of socks, a couple T's and 3 pair of boxer briefs. there's a gentle and regular agitator mode but no spin cycle (frankly not needed for small loads) that part works well so far. I also washed a pair of jeans and a towel to test it out. the water doesn't drain unless you turn the middle knob to "drain" pretty cool you can let the drainage hose loose in the tub.
I did overfill the first load and the dryer part had water in the bottom. after adjusting I stared to dryer part. one load after total drainage of water. it started bouncing for a few seconds but the thing spun so fast it nearly sat still and got most clothes almost dry. I'm more impressed with how well it stood still than the actually drying part. I then put a sopping wet pair of jeans in with the washer part still full. same thing it bobbed around a few seconds but started spinning so fast it stood still and I could just barely hear the whirring. after the full 5 minute dry cycle my pair of jeans were just lightly damp. color me impressed so far. in short Deep tub for decent wash. Extremely great dryer function. dual wash and dry, it's pretty quiet.
I just got this today and I've done so many loads and I honestly didn't believe these reviews that said the spinner gets the laundry almost dry, but it REALLY DOES! Also, I washed a bath mat that my local $$$$ laundry service has never once fully cleaned and it looks absolutely brand new. This thing is super versatile (I put it in the tub and use a bucket to fill) and super fast! It will pay for itself in less than two months, and I'll have that ability to do laundry on a whim that I haven't had since moving to New York. Truly life-changing!
The washer is great, but after doing 2 small loads of my 6 month olds clothes to try it out, the spin dry side developed a high pitched wine. I contacted the seller twice and no response. I have since contacted Amazon for a refund on the A to Z. If The seller would contact me and swap it out, I'd keep it. The spin dry is amazing.....if it only didn't sound like a bearing was going out.
***UPDATE***: I was able to hear back from the seller who asked for a couple pieces of information (Video with the machine making its noise) which I provided. They then sent a new washer. I have used it several times in our RV and it works great with no noise. Would purchase from them again as their customer service, once in contact, was excellent.

This small washer is perfect for washing my daughter's clothes and odds/ends. The small tube it came with is useless to me as it doesn't fit anything I have (and the only place I'm putting it is near/inside the bathroom) so it's much easier to fill a bucket of water and just pour it in. Also, when you put clothes in the spin dry, you have to stablelize the machine with both hands by holding on to the sides of the whole washer. Also, laying the tube flat helps it drain much faster. Best to put it in the tub. I kept the styrofoam to use. A minor inconvenience to be able to wash clothes at home for a single/couple/small family. Especially if you're struggling with a sickness that doesn't allow you to move around as much as you like, this is for you. It's pretty light and I can lift it with no problem.
I chose this machine because it holds more volume and seems much less likely to breakdown based on other reviews of this same model. Time will tell though, but right now I've already finished and dried a load of laundry in my tiny shotgun apartmet and it's pretty awesome. I will be updating later.
Bought this for my apartment. I remember this type of washer from the early 1960s; however, don’t let that put you off. Many high efficiency washers use the same methodology, but combined into one. This one works even better because it separates the wash and spin components making both aspects really outstanding.
Efficiency is outstanding. This washer uses only about a tablespoon of soap and fabric softener. It gets my clothes, sheets and towels so clean I don’t need bleach. Even old stains are disappearing. The spin is so strong the clothes are virtually dry. My wash time is around 3-6 minutes x 2 and spin time is less than two minutes for each spin out of wash and rinse. I find this a cost effective way to get really clean clothes and the additional steps are minimal. For however long it lasts, this was well worth the money. The laundry room that serves 10 apartments on my floor doesn’t get my clothes this clean. I use the laundry room mostly for bulky items now like blankets etc. I can wash bedding by separating a queen set into two loads or washing one towel set at a time, spinning out 1/2 of each load at a time. I am still finished in record time.
Update: this machine is still working strong!
Astonishing! Easy to use, cleans very well, spins dry, .. really, really pleased.
I set it on the bathtub and washed to drain because the drain hose needs to be flat to drain.
I've had my machine for 3 weeks now. I've been very impressed with it so far. I live in an apartment building that has only one washing machine that 6 units are supposed to share. Having this machine has eliminated my wait to do laundry. It gets my clothes very clean and the spinner does an amazing job of getting the majority of water out. I never used a dryer for my clothes and have always hung them up to dry. The air drying time has significantly decreased thanks to the spinner in this little machine. I did read other reviews prior to my purchase and followed their advice on the fill hose. I don't use it. I sit the machine in my tub (it's pretty lightweight) and use my showerhead to fill it up. I use it about twice a week and wash about three loads each time and it is holding up extremely well. Today I washed two loads which included: 2 pairs of jeans, 2 zippered hoodies, 1 heavy sweater, 3 long sleeve shirts, 2 tank tops, 4 light weight tshirts, 7 pairs of socks, 6 pairs of underwear and 3 bras.
We are stuck in executive housing for two months since my husband was promoted and relocated rather suddenly. Executive housing is an elegant way of saying a studio apartment under the title Residence Inn Marriott. With four kids and two dogs, it isn’t exactly ideal. And the hotel coin laundry is a joke. Tiny loads for a minimum of $4 a load. In two months, that would be about $350 in coin laundry.
I bought this little gem after reading through the reviews, and am SO GLAD I DID! I have two adult children—one married in an apartment with coin laundry, and the other in college, and I’m going to get them this wonderful machine. The unit is light weight which is important because you aren’t going to leave it in the same place for use and storage.
I set the machine up on top of the hotel coffee table which I set against the tub in the little bathroom. This way the electrical cord reaches the one outlet by the sink, and the waste water pipe (lightweight thin plastic), rests on the tub edge. I use the bathroom garbage can as a water bucket, fill the wash tub with hot water, add my detergent, and then put in the clothes. The trick is to put in enough clothes that will fill the spin tub to absolute packed capacity, and no more. I can do a nice load of t-shirts, socks and underwear, or 3 heavy duty wrangler cowboy jeans from my gross boys. I set the washer to 9 minutes. Sometimes, with whites especially, I leave ‘em to soak for awhile. Then I drain the wash water, put everything packed into the spin tub and put on the plastic top cap (VERY IMPORTANT), and spin 2-3 minutes. If you do not fill the spin tub to capacity, the unit wobbles horribly. When packed perfect, the spin is fantastic and the machine is quiet and still. The amount of water that spins out of the clothes is amazing. Then I put the clothes back in the washer, fill with rinse water, let that hum for 9 minutes. Reload into spinner, spin 2-3 minutes, and then line dry. We have a big Costco clothes rack set up in the main area by the window, and it will hold about 3-4 loads of washer from this mini washer.
If we didn’t have 4 kids at home, and it was just me and my husband, I think this is the only washer I would use. It is positively a marvelous little piece of equipment, great price, and does an excellent job getting everything nice and clean. My grown kids can’t wait to get one.
