I have tried a number of almond milks for use making lattes and cappuccinos at home and this is by far the best.
While my regular milk lattes and cappuccinos/etc turn out great, regular Almond Breeze or even the regular Califia Farms almond milk (i.e., the non-barista blend) separated, didn't froth and tasted a bit odd. I began to ask my favorite coffee bars which almond milk they use in their drinks and, with the exception of the few that make their own almond milk in house, the answer was Califia Farms Barista Blend.
The quality of the barista blend closely mimics regular cows milk coffee beverages - the barista blend does not separate and also manages to form a bit of foam. Also, it tastes good! Aesthetics aside, the barista blend tastes better than Almond Breeze or other regular almond milks that I have tried in my espresso mixed beverages.
You should note, however, that unlike the regular Califia Farms almond milk, the Barista blend has both added sugar and thickeners. This is most likely the reason for its stability and superior taste in espresso beverages.
This is the best nondairy creamer I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot. It's the only creamer that doesn't separate and clump in coffee. It also tastes great, just a hint of sweet. I first bought this creamer at a grocery store chain in Oregon called Market of Choice, but was never able to find it anywhere else, even other stores in OR. A lot of places like Whole Foods sell flavored versions, vanilla, hazelnut, etc, but I have never found this original flavor in any other stores. I felt silly buying this pack of 6 creamers, but after using it my coffee this morning, I was reminded of just what a perfect creamer this is, and I'm happy it will be a long time until I run out!
Well, we got addicted to New Barn Barista, but then it suddenly became difficult to locate. The Califa brand is a close second place. It's not quite as thick, but it'll do!
Love this stuff! I was able to buy it at my local Whole Foods in Arizona but have since moved and they don’t carry it where I live now. This is a great price for the amount you get. I have an espresso machine with a milk steamer and this is my all time favorite almond milk to use for lattes. Not only does it produce good foam it also has the best flavor compared to other brands.
I mainly use this to make lattes with my Rancilio Silvia. It's better than the usual grocery store almond milk, which clumps with heat and basically refuses to hold a microfoam. This product still feels really thin on body compared to steamed milk and I feel it doesn't quite hold a foam compared to other almond milks I've had in the cafes, but better than what I can find in the grocery store. I might try the Pacific stuff next.

I've experimented with different brands of non-dairy creamers for nearly a year now. I keep coming back to this one so I finally broke down and bought a pack of six. It dissolves better than the others in hot coffee as well as iced coffee.
I use almond milk every morning to make a blended iced coffee. This works nicely for that. It's thick with a mild flavor, not over poweringly almondy.
I’ve tried others and this one is the best almond milk for lattes. Great for vegans and those that can’t or don’t want to drink dairy. Normally I get the unsweetened non-dairy milks for everything else, but this is the only one that I like for making lattes. UPDATE: after trying other non-dairy milks, I have found that soy milk works a lot better for lattes and has a better taste.
Great for making lattes
Best stuff ever! I use it as coffee creamer. It has just a tiny bit of sweetness without being too much. I love that it’s shelf stable so I always have some on hand. Love it.
