I was pleasantly surprised when i used this for the first time. I have to admit, i was skeptical as to what the quality of this thing was going to be.
But I hooked it up to a hose and got my motorcycle out and with the help of a little wheel cleaner, this thing worked great!!
I thought for sure that the spinning brush would stop spinning when you try to have this thing get in tight spots, like in between all the spokes of a motorcycle wheel. But I put it to the test and really tried to put it in a spot that would stop the brush from spinning and it took more force then what "normal" use of the brush would take.
Being that it only uses the force of the water to make the brush spin, i was weary of how well it would spin when applying pressure to clean wheels that haven't been cleaned in years.
But the brush did great!!! Its pretty good quality plastic....feels strong and sturdy and did the job it was supposed to do to 2 cars and a motorcycle.
Cant wait to try it on other things around the yard.

I have one little complaint, I had to use both rubber washers inside the brush handle.(It comes with one already inside and an extra one in the bag) When there was only one in there, it leaked water like crazy, no matter how tight I connected the hose, it still leaked, one I used the second rubber washer it stopped leaking.

I'm on the fence with this product because it has a LOT of good features and works/does what it says it does. I think they describe it correctly and it's a great tool, but I would recommend getting 2 hoses and a splitter so that you aren't going back and forth with accessories on your garden hose which can be a chore...which is why I'm on the fence. While it does save you time, how much time it saves is questionable. Also another con is my son said he felt like his hand was asleep after using it. It vibrates like a S.O.B. and can be annoying if you can't handle it. Attachments are easy to change out and there is only minor leaking when it's in the off position. While I like it a lot I may only use it every other time because of the hassle of changing it out. I deducted one star for all the sharp plastic pieces that are on this thing...you have to be careful not to hurt yourself, while it shouldn't cut you it could make your hands uncomfortable, especially with the violent vibration it does while in use. The star deduction is NOT for the hassle of having to switch between accessories on a hose because that is preference, the manufacture doesn't make any claims on that so I didn't think it was fair to give them a demerit for that.

I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler sitting on 35 inch black and chrome monster tires. I loved them when I bought them, but didn't think much at all about how I would keep them clean. I have a fifth wheel on the back that for some reason gets pretty dirty too. I soon realized that cleaning them properly would take about 15 minutes a tire. I was not about to spend an hour and 15 minutes on my rims alone (I am not 19 anymore). This Item worked great taking off brake dust, caked on mud and other junk in about 5-7 minutes a tire. it was soo easy to use and worked as well as it said it would. I can also whip this thing out and clean my rims routinely instead of once or twice a year or when really bad. I read some of the bad reviews for this item. All I can attest to is that my Brush hero works great, and gets into smaller places that I am not going to spend all day with a rag scrubbing, But I also saw the cheaper ones on Ebay. I almost bought one of them until I read the reviews on those. In my opinion, spend the money and do it right. This is a time saver (unless you factor in that now my wife wants me to keep her rims clean too, But whateva mama wants mama gets lol)

I was excited to try the Brush Hero and decided to test it out on the hardest thing I could think of - my tire rims that haven’t been scrubbed for a long time! You can see the before and after photos. I compared the Brush Hero in one section to the standard “sponge, soap and elbow grease” in the other. You can see the difference!

It did take a little longer than I expected but it was very gentle and did not leave scratches like my scrubbing did. I would feel confident using this on more delicate items, especially with the other brush that’s included with the purchase.

I would recommend this product and look forward to trying it on other things!

This product is amazing. I've used it for loads of clean-up jobs, the most interesting being to clean up Melvin our metal moose, who was a mess. (See the post-clean picture!) I could never get him clean before I got the Brush Hero.

The brush is easy to install and use, and the slow speed makes all the difference. I'd figured that high speed would be better, but I was wrong. The brush cleans with strong, steady torque which works efficiently cuts through all the baked on muck that I needed to get off. In addition to cleaning Melvin, I've used it on car wheels, bikes and patio furniture.

I also love that there are no moving parts to break. It should last a long time.

Description

Makes. Life. Easier.

The Brush Hero uses NO batteries or electricity. It's powered by water pressure alone and connects to any standard garden hose. You can use it with car soap, detergents, cleaners or water alone. It is AWESOME for tires, rims and all auto detailing and car wash needs, but it's also great on hundreds of other cleaning projects. BBQs, grills, patio furniture, vinyl siding, rain gutters, pottery, garden tools, sporting equipment, farm equipment, bikes, motorcycles, boats, boots, dogs, horses...even pumpkins. You name it - Brush Hero has cleaned it! Use the white brush for tough household projects, brake dust and road muck. Use the black brush for sensitive surfaces such as paint and chrome. IT'S NOT MEANT TO SPIN FAST! Brush Hero is designed for maximum scrub and minimum splash. Faster speeds would only damage paint and cause a wet mess!

Brush Hero's narrow profile makes it the PERFECT wheel brush, while also allowing you to clean under the hood. Mountain bikers and motorcyclists love the powerful Brush Hero, because it helps them spend less time cleaning and more time riding!

This is an all-in-one cleaning tool: wheel brush, bike wash brush, auto washing tool, pool cleaner, motorcycle cleaner and so much more. It's a simple, innovative, useful MUST-HAVE gadget. It's a great gift for men. It's a great gift for women! Everything is easily replaceable - including the detachable brushes. No metal - the durable plastic is made to stand up to harsh cleaning chemicals, and you'll never worry about rust or corrosion.

You can give the Brush Hero a boost with our multipurpose family of cleaning accessories: The Navigator is a tapered wheel brush, useful for any tough-to-reach mess. The Grimefighter is a super tough cleaning brush. Our garden hose extension wand adds reach to your scrub. The Soap Star is a super handy hose-end soap dispenser, which you can use with the Brush Hero or without. Easy cleaning = happy cleaning!

Great customer service! At first I couldn’t get my Brush Hero to work as it just kept getting stuck and wouldn’t spin. So I reached out to the company and they sent me another washer. I guess this is an issue that happens once in a while with high water pressure. I put both the original and the new washer on top of the shaft and put the brush hero back together. It went from barely working to never failing. The brake dust came right off my wheels with ease. I use their Soap Star attachment too and love it. My rim paint was not damaged which yet the dirt and brake dust was removed. I recommend this product for your cleaning needs. If it doesn’t work reach out to the company like I did and they will help you out. Kind, real people...so refreshing!

I got this to help me clean wire wheels on motorcycles, as well as other types of wheels on vehicles. I'm not a fan of the drill-powered stuff because if you don't keep the surfaces wet, you can damage them. If you're looking for an enjoyable product which can provide a continuous stream of water on the surface while the bristles spin, this is what you should grab--and it's brilliantly-priced.

Mine came with 2 brush types, a soft and a firm, and it included a quick-disconnect fitting kit. I use quick-disconnects on all of my garden hoses and accessories, so I see the value in this. You can vary the flow of water and simultaneously the rotational speed, using an easy-to-reach thumb control.

The bristle head is large enough to clean a significant portion of a wheel at a time, but is still able to fit between the spokes. When I became aggressive in my cleaning technique, I had the head pop off a couple of times--but this was because I started to go too quickly. The heads are also easy/quick to change.

If I had one request for a change on this product, it would be the ability to control the flow independently of the rotational speed of the head. I realize the physics behind the design, so I know why it works the way it does at present--there are just a few times where I'd like a lower water flow with a maximum rotational speed. Perhaps this is possible in a new revision.

Overall, this is a fabulous product, and if you haven't already put it in your cart, you need to.

Wow! The Brush Hero worked great on my outdoor furniture. We don't have an indoor storage space and live on the water, so spider webs and other creature droppings are an issue on the deck furniture. This was easy to use out of the box. I bought the one that was sold by Brush Hero to make sure I was getting the real product, and not a knock off (you never know). I would recommend this product.

Being able to use it for a couple car washes, this brush definitely helps getting nooks and crannies clean for your rims. However, you do need a good/great wheel cleaner in order for it to brush and scrub away all the crud. It won't do much if you don't use product to break down the brake dust. Overall this product works. I would like if they had provided and extra quick-disconnect coupling so I could go from the the brush hero attachment to my spray nozzle.

For all those negative reviews out there this review should eliminate any hesitation you may have buying this product. First of all its not expensive, that aside of it were twice the price it would be worth the money. My brush hero worked perfectly. I bought this because I HATE dirty wheels and i equally HATE cleaning mine! Well I used to... With a little TSP (aka wheel cleaner) and the brush hero my wheels look spotless. I have a car that produces a lot of brake dust (E46) so my wheels get dirty quickly. The brush hero requires two things to work (aside from proper water pressure and volume), patience and technique. It doesn't spin fast but has plenty of torque. This means you move along slowly and do NOT apply a lot of pressure. The latter will only ruin the brush head, if you move along too quickly it will leave spots if unbrushed areas you'll need to go back over. If I have any suggestion it is to add more brush styles. I ordered the bigger brush (can't remember the name but its something like Gladiator or some foolish name with too much hubris for a tool) which may address this concern. I highly suggest this gadget...it may even rise to the level of tool. And if you made a metal version for 2x the price I'd buy that as I'm guessing this plastic version won't last more than a year or so.
